I've been pet sitting for over 8 years. I have experience with medicating cat if needed. I also have experience with anxious cats.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I have 5 kitties of my own. I have 3 girls and 2 boys. Their names are Diana, Aurora, hikari, feroccio, and burford.
Are you usually available during holidays?
Yes, I'm frequently available for holidays. I don't normally make plans or go out of town like most people do.

Jasmine took excellent care of our boys while we were away. Our older cat Bob hates everyone but us, and normally cat sitters rarely see him. But he made numerous appearances during Jasmine’s visits, which means he felt safe around her. We will definitely ask her to come back!

Jasmine has always been available when we've needed her to take care of our cat, Angel in the mornings and evenings when we're away on a trip. Angel is very particular in who she likes. She also has several medications both transdermal and oral that need to be given daily. Jasmine has been a God-send. Angel absolutely loves her. Jasmine is the only person outside of my husband and I that Angel will cuddle with and give kisses to. Not only that, but Jasmine has experience giving medications. She's been able to successfully administer Angel's transdermal and oral meds on a daily basis. That is huge for us! We are able to have peace of mind knowing that our Angel is in the capable hands of someone that cares about her and is attending to her vast needs. Jasmine has always been reliable. When we leave Angel with Jasmine, she sends us updates and pictures of Angel as we request it. Jasmine loves cats as she has 4 of her own. She has worked in a veterinary clinic for years and is going to school to be a vet tech. She came highly recommended to us by Angel's doctor, who has also used her as a pet sitter. Jasmine has a gentle and calming presence. She is always excited to see Angel. She follows what we request of her. We are able to trust her in our home and to take care of Angel as if she were her own. We are so grateful for Jasmine. She takes time to sit with Angel and give her that cuddle time she needs when we're away. We don't take Jasmine for granted. She is a true blessing to us and Angel.

Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Powell cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $26.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
