What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

I get satisfaction from giving cat parents peace of mind while traveling, knowing their kitties are well-taken care of while they're gone. Additionally, I love getting to know new cats and figuring out their personalities and quirks!

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

Yes! Cevallos (Cev for short) and Zazu. They are 4 and 3 years old, respectively, both adopted in Texas :)

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

I let the cat set the frequency and pace of our interactions. Especially when we're just getting to know each other, I will sit on the floor and let them approach me, speaking to them in a soft, soothing voice. When all else fails, bribery with treats is usually a pretty good strategy!

Robyn was lovely and kind. She set up a FaceTime meeting during a time that worked for both of us prior to accepting to make sure it was a good fit (which I definitely appreciate!) Max and Ari were so happy to have her there and my building is challenging to enter at times but Robyn took care to make sure she could get in and everything was seamless. Cancellation Policy

Customers may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a 100% refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Customers will receive a 100% refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Customers will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the customer cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.

The Meowtel Promise & Satisfaction Guarantee

We are proud to provide each of our independently-contracted Meowtel cat sitters with the full benefits of our Meowtel Promise on eligible reservations. For reservations where each visit is at or above $20 and paid for through Meowtel, your cat(s) will automatically be covered under our insurance policy in the event that things don't go as planned.

If you are not fully satisfied with your sitter after the Meet & Greet or during the reservation, please call 1-844-636-9835 so we can help you re-book with a new sitter to ensure we can deliver on our purrfect hospitality promise.
