What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

What I enjoy most about cat sitting is getting to know each cat’s unique personality. Every cat is different—some are playful and outgoing, while others are more reserved and independent—and I love taking the time to understand what makes each one feel comfortable and happy. Building trust with a cat is especially rewarding. I enjoy the quiet moments when a shy cat starts to open up or chooses to curl up next to me. It’s a great feeling to know I’ve earned their trust and helped them feel safe while their owner is away.

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

Yes!! I have 3 cats of my own/family cats. I’ve grown up having lots of feline friends. My current cats names are Bella, Toby, and Bindi. All different breeds of precious babies.

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

When caring for an anxious or timid cat, I prioritize patience and a calm environment. I allow them to approach me at their own pace, giving them plenty of space and quiet time to adjust. I avoid overwhelming them and use soft voices and gentle movements to build trust. Over time, I work to create a safe space where they feel secure, always respecting their boundaries.

Cancellation Policy

Customers may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a 100% refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Customers will receive a 100% refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Customers will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the customer cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.

For reservations where each visit is at or above $20 and paid for through Meowtel, your cat(s) will automatically be covered under our insurance policy in the event that things don't go as planned.
