What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I have 15y experience in veterinary technician care. Working closely with hospital cases and with an in home mobile vet allowed me to be precise with animal care and bring personalized care to each kitty into their home.
What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
I really enjoy watching cats be cats! Each single one has their own personality and their own unique character. From months old to double digit age, they are all sweet and loving when given the compassion.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
Over the years I have learned that cats need time to warm up, especially shy kitties. I bring a very comforting demeanor that displays compassion and allow the cat to warm up to me without forcing interaction.

Lily truly went above and beyond with my two kitties. One of my kitties, Lucy, along with being very skittish and shy, had just gotten full mouth surgery and needed a little extra TLC and to be given daily pain meds. Lucy frequently hides and won’t come out for strangers even with treats. However, Lily was not only able to coax Lucy out of hiding, but was able give her the medicine and pet her!! I have had friends and family come over to my house many times and Lucy won’t even come out for them. Lily truly is a cat whisperer! I will definitely be using her the next time I am out of town.

My cat is diabetic and I was concerned about how she would react to someone else giving her insulin but Lilian reassured me that she had the experience with shy cats. Lily is awesome. I have a diabetic cat that is a loaner. Lily was able to charm him with treats and give him his twice a day insulin shots without trouble. She also got my other shy kitty to come to the feed bowl. All my instructions were followed. I am confident in her abilities and am booking her for my cruise.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Missouri City cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $28.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.

The reservation was great! Lillian was great with my two cats. This was my second multiple days reservation with Lillian and she was such a wonderful person with them when I was away during the holidays that Lillian was my first thought when I realized I needed to be away for a few days recently. Lilian is a very professional and personable pet sitter. She has cared for my pets when I am out of town for many years. She also is very skilled at giving medications. She gives one of my cats sub-q fluids and has often administered oral and transdermal meds when I am out of town. Lilian not only takes good care of my cats, she also checks on the house as well. She is always very kind and patient with both me and the cats, and the cats really enjoy her visits. I highly recommend her!
