Hello! I’m Juliet and I’ve had cats my whole life, but have had my own since 2013. The most stressful part of going away for a few days to a few weeks is the worry I get around who will care for my cats. 1 cat has asthma and needs an inhaler, another has UTI issues and requires a pill twice daily, and the third is a small kitten who needs a ton of attention. I understand the stress around having a medically needy cat and not knowing if the person in your home ... Hello! I’m Juliet and I’ve had cats my whole life, but have had my own since 2013. I love cats, I’m a cat lady and my husband is a cat man. It only recently dawned on me that I could do what my own cat sitter does. I’m hoping I can make someone’s trip a little easier knowing their babies are being cared for.

So, whether your cats are totally healthy and just need regular loving or if they’re a bit more medically complex, I’m happy to be there for you guys and make sure they’re safe and cared for.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?

Find someone who cares for your cats the way you do, that way when you’re away you won’t have to wonder or worry

How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?

I always do a cat count when I enter and one when I leave. I make sure nothing around the house has fallen or is dangerous. It’s really situation specific. When there were water issues I made sure to use bottled water. If a cat seems off I make sure to communicate with the owners so we can decide what needs to be done.

Are you usually available during holidays?

Generally I am available during the holidays. My calendar always reflects my availability.

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

Play from afar, make sure all basic needs are met and allow them to come to me versus forcing a friendship.

Juliet is an outstanding cat sitter; my cats loved her. She's punctual, conscientious, and has an eye for detail. (She even spotted some tooth problems that could have become serious - vet recommended a thorough tooth cleaning and possible extractions.) At the meet & greet Juliet she made sure she completely understood my senior cats' complicated feeding routine. I will definitely include Juliet on my "favorite sitters" list.

Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.

All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
