I have two kitties. Ash (7), is a Snowshoe Siamese mix and Hobbes (4), is a Flame Point Siamese mix. We have had both since they were kittens.

What is your favorite cat toy?

My favorite cat toy is the laser pointer! I love how it encourages cats to tap into their natural hunting instincts in a fun, safe way. It’s a great tool for helping shy cats gain confidence and for giving energetic cats a way to get their zoomies out. I also enjoy how interactive it is, letting me bond with the cat while giving them exercise. I always end laser pointer play with a tangible toy or treat so they feel the satisfaction of “catching” something after the game, keeping it a positive and enriching experience for them.

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

For timid or anxious cats, I focus on moving slowly and giving them plenty of space to feel safe. I let them come to me on their own terms and avoid forcing interaction, instead using calm energy and a soft voice to reassure them. I’ll sit at their level and use slow blinks to show I’m not a threat. I also try to stick to their routine as much as possible to keep things familiar. If they’re comfortable, I might use treats or gentle play to help build trust over time, always respecting their boundaries and comfort level.

Cancellation Policy

Cat parents may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a full refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Cat parents will receive a full refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Cat parents will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the cat parent cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
