What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?
Always invest in a kitty cam for when you’re away! 🐱📹 It gives you peace of mind knowing you can check in on your kitty, make sure they’re eating and drinking, see what they’re up to, and catch any unusual behavior.
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
I prefer to do a complimentary meet and greet for those who are unsure or hesitant. This gives me a chance to get to know the cat, the client and the environment. If the owner is confident and comfortable to go forward without a meet and greet that is fine by me as well.

Evelyn was great with my cats. I booked her for 7 days. She took some portrait-worthy pictures of the cats, which I loved, and she even left a handwritten note at the end of the visits. I thought that was such a sweet and thoughtful touch. ❤️ There was one visit where she left about 20–25 minutes early, and I brought it up to her. She was receptive and made up the time on her next visit. She also came back an extra time when maintenance had accidentally closed off the room with the cats’ litter boxes, so she could make sure everything was taken care of. I greatly appreciated that. I saw via the cat cam that my kitties were relaxing around Evelyn when she came for longer visits, which was a good sign. Overall, I had a good experience and would book her again. I appreciated how well she took care of my cats.🐱💕

Evelyn was absolutely wonderful! She kept us reassured with regular updates and photos, which we loved. What amazed us most was that our highly anti-social cats actually came out to greet her during her visits. The feeding, hydration, and litter areas were well-maintained. Evelyn is awesome!!! She took good care of my floofy fur baby Marsha while I was on vacation out of the country. Marsha was comfortable enough to come out & socialize with Evelyn even though she usually hides around strangers. I also got adorable daily photo updates! Everything was tidy when I got back home. I will definitely book her again in the future! 😊

Evelyn was amazing!! very communicative! sent photos and updates. although our cats are shy she took extra measure to try to find them to comfort them while we were out! she cleaned the area around the boxes ! never left the cats unattended for long. if there was deviation in the schedule due to her own priorities she made sure to communicate such. would 10/10 recommend her to family, friends and anyone else needing reliable and compassionate pet care for your fur babies when away from home.

Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

San Antonio cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $24.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
