Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

I had three cats before, and I have three now. Two unfortunately passed away, (Millicent and Poseidon) and due to circumstances in the home, two came to join the fray. Corvias - 11 yr old male grey who has no qualms with self identifying as a momma's boy. He hates being away from me, and cries up a storm if I'm not around. He's used to getting what he wants and unfortunately I enforce that behavior. Illusi - 1 yr old male orange who I firmly believe is a barn cat. Absolutely does not want to be touched unless by his favorite human or if he is feeling generous. Has Pica and liver problems, but loves to go outside on a harness. Elhokar - 4mo old male orange who doesn't understand that food is always available. He devours everything in his path, and loves to play with his brothers. He's a cuddlebug too.

What is your favorite cat toy?

I love little foam balls, they're fun thing to throw around and the cats aren't going to get hurt with them. Some cats enjoy the laser, spring toys, and wands, but the tunnels are the fun ones.

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

Never reach out for them, let them find their hiding spot, make sure you know where they are, but don't go after them. They need to feel safe, and usually just sitting and talking and letting them know you're there can get them to either come out or eventually calm down enough to just stay comfortably there. Stressed out cats make sick cats, and forcing yourself on a cat will just make them sick.

Cancellation Policy

Customers may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a 100% refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Customers will receive a 100% refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Customers will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the customer cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
