All of my free (and sometimes not free) time is spent with cats. I have volunteered for San Antonio Feral Cat Coalition as a Foster Coordinator at one of their Petco locations, I volunteer with Acro-Cats every year, and I currently foster with Footbridge Foundation.

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
I enjoy getting to interact with different cat personalities and getting to work with them to ensure they are comfortable and happy. I want to make cat parents feel comfortable going to wherever they are going knowing that their pets are in good hands
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I have 3! Kiry is an 18 year old Himalayan who is grumpy and grouchy and enjoys sunbathing on my balcony. Milo is a 9 year old goofy orange boy who loves treats and cuddles. He’s 15lb!! Astro is 1 year old grey tabby who is a foster fail. He is a menace, has fallen into the toilet and trash can multiple times, and makes me laugh every day.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?
When looking for a sitter, it’s important to have someone who is as excited to see your cats as you are. I thoroughly enjoy hanging out with different cats and “fangirl” over them and send lots of pictures.
How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
I always introduce myself to the cats by getting down to their level, offering my hand to sniff, and slow blinking at them. I let them approach me on their own time and let them be if they seem hesitant to interact.
Are you usually available during holidays?
Yes, I am! With cats of my own, I tend not to go out on vacation and when I do, they come with me.
What is your favorite cat toy?
I love a good wand toy. Something the cats can chase and stalk and go crazy over! Astro flings himself in every direction and it’s so fun to watch.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
I’ve had several reserved foster kittens and one that was too feral to be adopted out. They key thing I’ve learned is just to be patient. I’ve been bitten, scratched, attacked, etc. One of my foster kittens enjoys company, but doesn’t want to be picked up and that’s ok!

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.
