What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
While I’ve been (purr)sonally taking care of my own cats since I was a child, I’ve had multiple years of experience. I’ve had experience with administering medications and even being conned into giving them a cat gogurt tube and nip a time or two (guilty as charged!🤭)
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I have two beautiful sweet girls at home. Our oldest is Snowball or Snowie as we call her. She’s our old soul and absolute sweetheart. Then there’s my baby who is the light and love of my life - Lilly or Lillian Amber. She’s our little rebel girl but I wouldn’t trade her for the world.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
Personally, I like to get on their level and offer them my hand to sniff to let them know I’m here and that they’re safe (if they want to come out to say hello). If they’re a little bit more shy or anxious which is okay to be around new people and even around their own humans, I’ll get on their level, and if they’re hiding somewhere, I’ll offer my hand, and even speak softly or quietly to them, just to assure them that they’re safe and in good hands, and that whenever they want to come out and say hello, they can do so on their own terms, and that I would love to meet them or play with them or even make sure they’re okay and let them know I’m there to take care of them

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
