What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
What I enjoy most about cat sitting is building a genuine connection with each unique feline personality. There's something deeply rewarding about earning a shy cat's trust or making a playful one's day with their favorite toy. I love observing their distinct quirks and preferences, from the way they curl up in specific spots to how they communicate their needs. Providing peace of mind to pet parents while ensuring their beloved companions receive attentive care in familiar surroundings brings me tremendous satisfaction. Each sitting opportunity allows me to expand my understanding of these fascinating, complex animals.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
Yes, I'm blessed to share my home with four wonderful cats who have taught me so much about feline care. Chloe, Jerry, Petey, and Riley each bring their unique personalities to our family dynamic. Chloe is the dignified matriarch, while Jerry's playful antics keep everyone entertained. Petey is our gentle soul who loves quiet companionship, and Riley's curiosity leads to endless exploration. They've mastered the art of peaceful coexistence, creating a harmonious multi-cat household. I've observed how they rotate their affections among family members, reminding me that cats choose their companions based on changing moods and needs – valuable insight I bring to my sitting experiences.

Michelle is a loving, trustworthy petsitter, who pays attention to all your pet's needs. We have a diabetic cat with chronic ear infection, and Michelle took perfect care of him. No problem neither with the eye's drops that our other cat needed. She sent us pictures and updates while we were abroad. We definitely will call her again!

Our two elder cats, both 16 years old, required several pills each twice daily. They also have to have special Rx wet food, including feedings using timers overnight to ensure they get proper nutrition. Michelle is always able to manage their medications and feedings effortlessly, and ensures she has enough time for cuddles to both our needy elderly spinsters. Hats off to Michelle for making each of our vacation trips just that much more carefree.

Michelle helped us out when our regular feline caretaker was unavailable. She had to look after two elderly, kitties both of whom required regular medication, special food, and all of it carefully time twice a day. Michelle made sure that both cats had their medications in a timely fashion, received their specials foods--including her loading two timed feeders for overnight nourishment--and otherwise received enough attention from her to offset our absence. We didn't have a lot of time to go over all these details. Michelle took careful notes, though, and ensured that we found both our cats healthy and happy upon our return. Hats off to Michelle for being the perfect example of professional competence. We could not have been any more fortunate.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Round Hill cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $27.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.

My 2 cats are high maintenence: senior cats, diabetic, high BP, food allergies, and subQ fluids for kidney failure.
