What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?

My process starts with a detailed conversation to learn about your cat’s routine, personality, and needs. I like to do a meet-and-greet to ensure your cat feels comfortable with me and to go over any special instructions. During visits, I stick to your cat’s routine, providing fresh food and water, playtime, cuddles (if they’re into it), and keeping you updated with messages and photos.

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

For timid or anxious cats, I focus on giving them space and letting them come to me on their terms. I keep my movements calm and quiet, avoiding overwhelming them. I pay close attention to their body language and respect their boundaries, whether that means sitting nearby or just being present in the room. With time, patience, and a gentle approach, I’ve found that even the most reserved cats begin to feel comfortable and trust me.

Cancellation Policy

Cat parents may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a full refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Cat parents will receive a full refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Cat parents will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the cat parent cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
