My journey with animals began when I was a baby. My family always had dogs growing up, but it was not until my 20s that I adopted my cat Tiana, who is my princess. I am the go-to-pet sitter for my colleagues and friends. This experience has allowed me to understand the needs of various pets, especially cats, whose comfort and well-being is my top priority... My name is Tiffani Murphy. I am an Executive Assistant at the University of Washington, a role that has honed my responsibility, dependability, and attention to detail. These qualities translate perfectly into my pet sitting services, ensuring your cat receives care and affection during your time away.

I am the go-to-pet sitter for my colleagues and friends. This experience has allowed me to understand the needs of various pets, especially cats, whose comfort and well-being is my top priority.
What I offer as a cat sitter:
-keeping to your cat’s daily routine/schedule especially when it comes to feeding time(s) and making sure auto feeders are working properly
-refresh of water bowls/fountains
- scooping litter daily/ sweep or vacuum litter area
- lots of snuggles and playtime
- offering treats/catnip depending on your cat’s liking
- 2 to 3 pictures and/or videos of your fur baby
- text summaries of each visit. For overnight visits, I will make sure to include evening and morning summaries.
- In general for all clients. I will let you know when I arrive and how your cat is doing when I arrive.
- I will also get your mail/packages, water plants.
Whether it’s maintaining a feeding routine, ensuring ample playtime, or providing companionship, I strive to create a fun, secure environment. I look forward to the opportunity to meet your furry family member!!

Can you tell us about your favorite cat sitting reservation?
My favorite cat sitting reservation has been for my friend Mallory. Her cat Hobbes is a year and half. She is full of energy, spunky, and very talkative. She obsessed with food, and will literally beg and smell what you have. One funny moment that I discovered was that she LOVES WATER! I had used the restroom, and Hobbes sprinted into the bathroom the moment that turned on the water. She just starred into the sink, then started smacking the water. I would give her 5-10 minute water time, and she would be soaked from just placing her head under the faucet.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I have one cat. Her name is Tiana, and she is a 9 year old tortiseshell cat. #tortitude
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
When I visit a new client and/or about to take care of my friend's cat, I take thorough notes to make sure the cat has the proper cat while their owner is gone and making sure I keep to their normal routine.
Are you usually available during holidays?
Most holidays-- I do travel for Christmas time.
What is your favorite cat toy?
My favorite cat toy(s) are feather dusters, tunnels, and mice.

Tiffani responded quickly, was reliable and friendly, and gave our fur babies such good care and attention while we were out of town. She went above and beyond to take care of cats, bringing them treats and taking multiple videos for us to giggle at. She even took out our trash, something we hadn’t even thought about needing to do. Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.
These are the date ranges in 2026 to which the holiday surcharge applies:
- January 1-4: New Year's 2026
- January 16-22: MLK Day
- February 13-19: Presidents Day
- May 22-28: Memorial Day
- June 16-22: Juneteenth
- July 1-7: July 4th
- September 4-10: Labor Day
- October 9-15: Columbus Day / Indigenous Peoples' Day
- November 8-14: Veterans Day
- November 23-29: Thanksgiving
- December 22-28: Christmas
- December 29-31: New Year's 2027

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Kirkland cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $32.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.

Tiffani is a perfect match for taking care of our cats! From the initial visit she was detail oriented and asked all the right questions. She is prompt with replying and professional. During the visit she connected with our shy cat, and even got some cuddles from him which is SO rare and special for him to cuddle a unfamiliar person. Feeding time can be chaotic with 4 kitties but she quickly figured out how to make sure everyone ate lol. She sent the cutest pictures and videos! We really appreciated feeling like our cats were well taken care of.
