What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

It doesn’t feel like work! It feels like a second nature for me to walk in, see a cat, play with her, and relax with her. I don’t want the cat to feel like I’m rushed, so I like to just take a few deep breaths, calm myself, then walk in and care for the cat. I want to make sure she feels comfortable and safe, so there’s no stressing for her while you’re gone. I take my time and keep us both (or all) relaxed.

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

I have a DSH female cat named Cinder that we rescued from a shelter over five years ago. She gets so many compliments on her behaviors around others.

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

This can be a tough one because I don’t want to stress the cat even more. I have found just calling to them softly and clicking my tongue while remaining slow and calm can help them warm up and come around.

Cancellation Policy

Customers may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a 100% refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Customers will receive a 100% refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Customers will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the customer cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
