Mara was great with our kitty Jules! She did all the things we asked her to do and MORE! She cleaned the water bowls, cleaned the litter (and disposed of it in the garage like we asked). She sent us pics and videos of Jules along with text updates so we knew Jules was doing well. She played with Jules and gave her lots of pets. Her visits were well-timed (never too early or too late). She was prompt in responding to messages. Mara was what we were hoping for with our first Meowtel reservation- we got a caring pet sitter who goes above and beyond to help us feel at ease leaving our kitty in her care.

I couldn’t be more pleased with how Mara cared for my kitty while I was away!! From our interactions after the initial reservation, to the meet-and-greet where she took notes while I gave her the specifics, to the daily updates (including cute pictures with details about my cat and each visit), to her attention to even the small nuances, and even watering my plants as well…everything exceeded my expectations! If the scale went higher and I could rate Mara higher than 5 stars, I would. This was my first time using Meowtel, and having someone outside of family care for my cat, and the experience couldn’t have been better. I’m already making plans for my next time out of town, and I will definitely be using Mara for any future needs! It is so evident that she truly cares for cats and treats them with love, like they are her own!!!

I can’t say enough about Mara. I’m so lucky to have found her as a cat-sitter. so nice to have someone I feel I can really trust, not just with my cats, but with my home. what pleases me the most, though, is that she took the time and energy to start winning-over my shy Ragdoll, Kevin. He doesn’t make it easy, but he was gently putting his paws on her and letting her pet him after only a couple days worth of visits. To have someone come over who my cats actually like really puts me at ease about leaving. I can’t recommend Mara enough!

Mara did such a wonderful job! I had a camping trip that I was going to be gone for the weekend and the person who was cat sitting for me couldn't do it so I booked Mara last minute and she communicated so well with me. Mara really helped us out when we needed a sitter last minute. She is responsive and sends updates and pictures daily.
