What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?

I've been cat sitting for friends for over 20 years. However, I've never done it as formal employment. I have been hiring cat sitter since my first cat, Hermione, in 2003. I've had so much luck finding great sitters. I can only hope to be that for someone else!

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

The cats, of course! All cats are unique, beautiful, independent little creatures. I love learning about their personality. Few things feel more rewarding than gaining the trust of a shy, timid cat.

Can you tell us about your favorite cat sitting reservation?

I house and cat sat for a family while I was living in Seattle. The family insisted I would never see her. I had her hanging out with me and sitting in my lap by the end of the week. She was the sweetest little senior girl. We enjoyed sitting outside in the shade together.

Cancellation Policy

Customers may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a 100% refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Customers will receive a 100% refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Customers will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the customer cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
