When I’m cat sitting, my goal is always to keep things calm and familiar... I’m a lifelong cat lover and have shared my life with cats for many years. I currently have two of my own, Zeytin and Chico, who have very different personalities. So I’m well-versed in both confident, social cats and shy, sensitive ones. Over the years, I’ve also cared for cats belonging to friends and family while they travel, which has given me experience with a wide range of routines and temperaments.
When I’m cat sitting, my goal is always to keep things calm and familiar. I stick closely to each cat’s routine, move at their pace, and let them decide how much interaction they want. I’m patient, observant, and attentive to behavior changes, which helps cats feel safe and comfortable in their own space.
I’m comfortable following detailed care instructions, including feeding schedules, litter care, and administering medications as needed. Whether your cat is outgoing or prefers to keep their distance, I take a gentle, respectful approach and treat every kitty as if they were my own.

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
I enjoy getting to know new cats, since each one has a unique personality and way of interacting. I also find it very rewarding when they realize they’re not alone and begin to feel comfortable knowing someone is there to care for them.
Can you tell us about your favorite cat sitting reservation?
One of my favorite cat sitting experiences was caring for a very shy cat at a friend’s home a couple of years ago. Before my first visit, my friend warned me that I likely wouldn’t see the cat at all. During the first few visits, I gave him space and followed his routine. By the third visit, the shy furball started coming out to see me and even meowed. I recorded a short video and sent it to my friend, who was genuinely surprised, and still asks me how I managed it.
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
When working with a new cat parent, I start by listening carefully to their expectations, routines, and any specific preferences they have for their cat’s care. I ask thoughtful questions, take notes, and make sure I understand exactly how they want things done. I’m a very empathetic person and try to see things from both the cat’s and the owner’s perspective. During visits, I follow the agreed-upon routine closely, provide calm and attentive care, and communicate clearly so cat parents feel confident their cat is in good hands.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
