What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
I love getting to meet new cats. I enjoy the company cats can give and hope I’m a positive presence for them as well! Having the opportunity to care for fur-babies is something I take seriously and I care for them as if they were my cat! It is so fun to see them begin to bond with me too.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I have a happy and healthy adult cat named Pear. Growing up I had 2 cats Juno & Athena who lived to be 20 years old. I love spending time with cats to see their unique personalities emerge!
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
Not all cats are the same and letting them get to know you on their terms in their space is important. Some are confident and energetic and some need more time to get to know someone new! I do not mind respecting a timid or anxious cat’s boundaries, often just being a presence for them to walk up to if they choose! Treats and pets also may help!

This was our first time leaving our kittens alone for a whole week so we hired Clara to keep an eye on them. She was fantastic! She sent pictures and kept us posted on everything during her visits. She was very sweet with our two kittens. We found them very well cared and not sad at all. I totally recommend her.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.
