Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I have three furry boys: Bruce, Reggie, and Ari. Each range in personalities. I've had Bruce since he was 3 weeks old. He is now 3.5 years. I got Reggie when he was 4 months old and is now 4 years. Ari is also 3.5 years old, but he came into my life when he was 2.5 years old. He was a feral cat that I took in and got him to good health. He is the most cuddly one too! I love them all. I love seeing them happy and feeling safe in their home with me.
What is your favorite cat toy?
This question is for the cat! Haha, but really my favorite cat toy is whichever the cat chooses because then I can play with their favorite toy and bond with them. Many popular ones include the stick with a string, or a spring toy. I also like to make a tunnel system and act like the prey while the cat is hiding inside. My cats love playing that.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
I avoid eye contact, speak very softly, avoid walking towards them, and allow them to hide until they feel like I'm not a threat. I also keep treats with me for when they are ready to interact. I'll leave treats near me or let them take it from my palm. I don't force them to do anything because that would make me look like a threat. When they show a sign of interest, I will lower myself down and stick my finger out for them to sniff while avoiding eye contact. This helps them feel more comfortable.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
