What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?

I’ve been cat-sitting professionally for over a year now, and I have many repeat clients in and around Folsom. For more than 10 years, friends, family, and neighbors have all trusted me to provide exceptional care for their pets when away from home.

How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?

The safety and well-being of your furry family members is always my number-one priority. I’m extremely careful when entering/exiting the home, never leave any doors or windows unsecured, and I always double check that all doors are locked when I leave. I never provide toys or treats without your approval, and I will never bring plants into your home — unless you’d like some cat-safe oat grass! I closely monitor behavior, appetite, hydration, and bathroom habits. If there’s ever any changes, or if I have any concerns about how your kitty is feeling, I will notify you promptly. To be prepared in case of an emergency evacuation or the need for a vet visit, I will ask for the location of cat carriers prior to the start of the sit.

Are you usually available during holidays?

My family lives in the area, so I’m always in town for the holidays! I’m regularly available for drop-in visits during holidays, and available for housesitting on a case-by-case basis.

I would highly recommend booking with Emmi if you are in need of cat sitting services! I have re-booked with Emmi twice now for a couple of weekends I have been away to do check—ins on my 11 year old ragdoll cat, Brody. Brody has hyperthyroidism and needs medication twice a day. Emmi has been great at administering his medication and giving me updates on how Brody is doing while I’m away. Any requests or info I send, Emmi is always quick to respond. Emmi is great to work with!

Cancellation Policy

Customers may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a 100% refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Customers will receive a 100% refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Customers will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the customer cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
