I have had as many as 6 cats at one time. Although there are certain traits they have in common, they are all quite individual and need to be appreciated for their own behaviors. I once was given a cat who was deemed to be impossible to socialize. She had been abused and would strike out if your hand or foot got near her, but not your face. We gave her the space she needed and slowly acclimated her to the entire space and never reproached her for her attitude. This went on for three months. Then, one day I came home from work, she was on the kitchen counter. I went up to her and put my face up to her and said, 'Hello', then went and sat on the sofa. She jumped down, climbed into my lap, stood on her hind legs and threw her arms around my neck. Cancellation Policy
Customers may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation
and receive a 100% refund and the sitter will not receive any
earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation
rules apply:
Customers will receive a 100% refund to their
Gift Card Balance
if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the
reservation and the sitter will not receive any earnings.
Customers will receive a 50% refund and the sitter will earn 50%
of their planned earnings if the customer cancels between 24-48
hours of the start of the reservation.
No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation and
the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
The Meowtel Promise & Satisfaction Guarantee
We are proud to provide each of our independently-contracted Meowtel cat sitters with the full benefits of our Meowtel Promise on eligible reservations. For reservations where each visit is at or above $20 and paid for through Meowtel, your cat(s) will automatically be covered under our insurance policy in the event that things don't go as planned.
If you are not fully satisfied with your sitter after the Meet & Greet or during the reservation, please call 1-844-636-9835 so we can help you re-book with a new sitter to ensure we can deliver on our purrfect hospitality promise.
