Although your bond with your pet is one of a kind, my goal is to give your kitty the same fun, comforting, and safe time as they would have with you... From family farm to friends', I have loved and cared for animals all of my life. Strays somehow always find me. I volunteer at the SPCA as a socializer in my free time. I have also cared for senior & sick animals. Spending time with pets (all creatures in general) is one of my greatest joys! Don't tell the others, but cats are my favorite 😉
Although your bond with your pet is one of a kind, my goal is to give your kitty the same fun, comforting, and safe time as they would have with you. We don't want our fur babies to resent us for leaving them!! This includes learning their and your preferences for feeding & exercise, affection (or not), schedules and habits, home and public safety of your animal, and keeping any door-dashers where they should be. I have experience administering medications to cats and dogs, and in cats, injecting fluids. I respect your home and your privacy. Working with integrity and keeping your trust is very important to me!

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I have done both long and short term cat sitting. Casually pet sitting for the past 25 years. More recently, paid pet sitting for about 10 years. I'm excited to broaden my kitty network through pet sitting apps!
What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
The excitement of a cat realizing they haven't been abandoned for.ev.er. when their parent left. I love to help them feel loved. I enjoy getting to know cats' personalities and quirks, what kind of snuggles they accept and prefer, and also photographing them!
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
One standard issue, quirky chonk named "Hamilton Bug" owns me. He's a hoot, a toot, and a lover, to boot.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?
PLEASE fill out your full profile. These details are so important for us to get to know you and your pets. As a general rule, I will decline any requests that do not have complete info.
Are you usually available during holidays?
Yes. My family gatherings are usually here in Sacramento, so I'm able to bounce around town on holidays for visits.

Karli was fantastic with our feline brood! She took extensive notes on the meet and greet, and went above and beyond to make sure she took the same care of our kits as we do. We felt super comfortable and informed as we received texts with pics after every visit. Out of the few Meowtel providers we've used, Karli is by far the most prepared, thorough, and responsible. She did her homework prior to meeting us and already knew our cats names and all the info in our profile, and she asked many questions and even took her own notes. While we were gone, I can't explain how above and beyond she went. We were so incredibly happy with her. I get the feeling this isn't only seen as a source for extra income for her like it is for others. She honestly cares and wants to make sure the pets are provided for and happy. She said her goal is to make sure our cats don't resent us for leaving when we come back- and she did just that. They were super happy! She's now our permanent sitter 😺

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.
These are the date ranges in 2026 to which the holiday surcharge applies:
- January 1-4: New Year's 2026
- January 16-22: MLK Day
- February 13-19: Presidents Day
- May 22-28: Memorial Day
- June 16-22: Juneteenth
- July 1-7: July 4th

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Sacramento cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $31.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.

I can’t recommend Karli enough as a cat sitter! She takes such wonderful care of our two cats, Monte and Mona, anytime we are away. Not only is she incredibly reliable and communicative, but she also paid great attention to detail, making sure both cats were happy and comfortable. Karli is one of the kindest people I know - and that kindness extends to every cat she meets.
