Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

Yes, I have 2 fur babies! I have a black cat named jiji and an orange cat named Cece! They’re both girls and let me tell you it’s a challenge having 2 girls. They have total opposite personalities which makes it fun but they definitely get into their sister tiffs lol! Jiji is a very bold, brave, smart, reserved kitty but absolutely loves me. I can even have conversations with her since she’s so vocal. My Cece is way more timid and scared but such a huge lover girl! The cuddliest cat ever but not as clever as Jiji. I love them for their own personalities. I wouldn’t be able to choose between them - they are my babies!

What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?

When I first work with a new cat parent, I like to start by learning all the important details. Things like feeding schedules, litter habits, hiding spots, favorite toys, any medical or behavioral aspects, and any special quirks. I also ask how often they want updates and what helps them feel most at ease. Additionally, I ask about any specifics on the home, such as apartment codes or home security precautions. After all I am dropping in at their homes and I pride myself in treating it with respect along with the kitties. At the first visit, I’ll take things slow and let the kitty lead. My goal is to make sure the kitty and owner feel taken care of! I also like to meet or have a virtual chat with the parents for them to get an idea of me and break the ice!

How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?

The security of the home and cat are top priority and I take it very seriously. I double check doors, windows, gates before I leave each visit and make sure the home stays just as the owners left it and follow any specific instructions regarding their home. For the cats, I’m mindful of anything the cat could get into like cabinets, plants, drawers, outside and make sure I see them at the beginning and end of the visit. I also make sure their food, water, and litter are fresh and their space is clean. I’m too of that I keep keys and access info secure and never share details about a clients home or routine. Most importantly, I stay present and vigilant during the visit to ensure safety. A big part of creating a safe space for the kitty is to also be a respectful and trustworthy guest.

Cancellation Policy

Customers may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a 100% refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Customers will receive a 100% refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Customers will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the customer cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
