Charla is the world's best cat sitter and an exceptional human. We have booked Charla many times to take care of our cats while we are away. She has always impressed us but this time there are no words for the gratitude my family and I felt for Charla. Our worst nightmare started to unfold while we were in NY. A fire started in the canyon below our house. Charla was following the fire closely and went to our house without any prompting from us. She was on the scene as our neighborhood was given evacuation orders. We are so very thankful to SDFD and everyone who worked diligently and put out the fire before it reached our neighborhood. Charla was sending me constant updates. It was very scary being so far away. I would not have wanted anyone else on the scene making sure our cats were safe. Charla truly cares about animals and will put herself in harms way to protect them. I don't know if there is a better quality for a cat sitter. I am forever grateful for Charla.

Charla is a phenomenal cat sitter. She is a quick learner, clear communicator, thorough and detail oriented, and best of all, the biggest cat lover. She cared for my babies like they were part of her family. When we had a medical issue, she addressed it swiftly and worked with me to come up with a plan to solve it. Charla was amazing! Our cat loved her instantly, even though she is normally terrified of strangers. Charla was very communicative, sending daily photos, videos and updates. This was our first time using a pet sitter (we usually have our family come when we are out of town), so I was a bit nervous. But from the moment I met her for the first meet and greet, I instantly knew we were in great hands. She is so kind and experienced, and will take great care of your fur baby. I went on a three week vacation, and booked Charla once again to watch my kitty. She is absolutely the best! She noticed that my cat loved an old amazon box in the house, and on her next visit she brought 4-5 boxes for him to play with! Not only that, but she also brought a million toys for him to play with, cycling them daily so he wouldn’t be bored. Additionally, she left cat TV on for him while she was gone, and I saw on my apartment cameras my cat watching TV for hours! He loved it!! She is extremely attentive and caring. My cat never lays in anyone’s lap, yet cuddled with Charla for hours. Honestly, I’m concerned my cat chose a new mom. Don’t hesitate to book Charla, I promise your kitty will love her!

Charla is the best cat sitter. She is very reliable and thorough with her cat visits. She truly cares for animals. When we come back from our vacation, our two kitties are always so content and well fed. My husband and I joke that the cats miss Charla and her fun extended play time visits. I swear one of my cats was waiting for her to come through the front door the day after we got back.

I can't rave about Charla enough. we never worried once about how our cat Mimi was doing because she updated us everyday. our cat is a picky eater and she told hiw much she ate daily, her mood, the little extras she did. Charla even checked if our window was flooding water due to rain (we had that issue last rain). She even left us a toy that she brought over. Communication was always on point. I’m not sure who loves Charla more, me or the cats! She is so great with them. They can be a little finicky, especially around new people and they seemed to enjoy her presence right away. I’ve had the luxury of utilizing her for 3 separate occasions and each time the cats seemed like they were on vacation with her, with all the fun toys, treats and playtime! One of my cats requires an oral medication and Charla was able to give it to her every day without any problems. What a relief to find an experienced pet sitter that is a fun, reliable person with the biggest heart and compassion for cats. We never want to move now that we found our dream cat sitter! Charla is an amazing cat sitter! She sends multiple videos and pictures, and cares about my cat Honey as if he was her own. She was very understanding when I had to cancel or add visits, and made sure the litter box is thoroughly cleaned, even cleaning the area around and sweeping up his litter that spilled on the floor. She even stayed longer than scheduled to make sure Honey wasn’t lonely, and played with him the entire time! Her dedication did not go unnoticed, and I am so grateful for Charla. I feel very happy to have booked her for my upcoming 3-week vacation, knowing that my cat is in great hands!

Charla took care of our two cats for nearly two weeks and did a phenomenal job. We were impressed with how well she got along with our cats who are normally shy around strangers. We also loved how quickly she responded and the photos she sent. She also went above and beyond by doing an emergency cat checkin for us outside of the reservation.

As I’ve written previously (this is No. 4), my wife and I had a wonderful experience with Charla tending to our four cats on this trip — two male Burmese and two female rescues. By this time, all four cats always come running to meet Charla when they hear her voice at the front door. They know her that well! We go through the drill of making sure Charla knows where we keep medical records on all four, how to reach the vet, where we keep the cat carriers, and so on. Information Charla already knows but we go over it because I will always forget. Charla would be comfortable in anyone’s home with cats. We ask her to feed ours twice daily, she checks litter boxes upstairs & down, stays alert for any issues (our male Burmese is a little aggressive) and makes sure all four cats get equal time. AND, Charla brings … toys! We keep plenty of cat toys too, but Charla is the best at playing with our cats. Charla also sends lots of still pictures & video imagery each day so we know how things are going at home. It’s interesting that those stills and video clips are fun to look at, but also give us ideas for playing with our cats when we return. Finally, we sincerely appreciate the time and effort that Charla puts into every visit she makes to our home. Our cats certainly appreciate it; and my wife and I are always confident that we can trust Charla to take care of all four cats and the house while we’re gone.

Charla was amazing. You can instantly tell she loves cats and she’s very good at entertaining them. She sent great photos and videos every day. We felt so comfortable knowing that she took great care of our kitties while we were gone. I can honestly say she’s the best cat sitter we’ve ever had!

Charla is a truely amazing cat sitter. You can tell right away she loves cats and respects their individual personalities. I have 2 cats. One of my cats, Nala, is not friendly and barely tolerates her own family. I get nervous leaving her because she is attached to only me and does not warm up to anyone. Charla took extra time letting Nala learn to trust her. She read Nala’s body language very well and by day 3 Nala greeted her at the door excited for morning treats. Charla also sent me many pictures and videos that put me at ease. She communicated very well. I am so happy I found Charla and will definitely be using her next time we travel.

Charla is a top notch cat and home sitter for us who is without a doubt, the best sitter we’ve ever worked with. We have four cats, two male Burmese 8-year olds (same litter) and two mixed breed rescues from a different litter that are females and a bit younger. Charla has been our sitter twice before when we were out of area for a few days. But this time we would be gone for nine days on the east coast so we were glad she was available to feed and play with our cat family twice a day. And the rains were coming to San Diego, so I was even happier to have Charla close by. Charla is exceptionally capable. She has our medical references for our cats, knows them by name, goes over their meals with us, tends to the litter (no small thing with four cats) and gives us reports morning and evening when she’s in the house. Charla plays with all of our cats on each visit and lets us know how they’re doing. She also sends plenty of pictures during each of her visits, without fail. So we get to see how every one of our cats is doin Charla (phone or text) to stay caught up. Charla is simply one of the best sitters there is: experienced, great with our cats, technically skilled, communicates well, and makes sure we’re in the loop. I can’t think of a more capable individual.

Charla is a five star cat sitter for sure! This is the second time we’ve asked Charla to take care of our four cats for several days (long weekend), this time while we were in the Bay Area. Being that far away requires complete confidence in your sitter, which is Charla in every way. Charla does everything right: she follows our feeding plan, cleans the cats’ dishes, plays with each of the four, brings in mail and parcels, keeps the litter boxes clean and the litter area swept, sends us videos and (a lot!) of pics of our cats playing; and checks with us right away if she has a medical question or any other issue with regard to any of our cats. Moreover, I can depend on Charla to keep an eye on the house and the pool, making sure everything is working OK. Charla communicates with us every day during and after each time she’s been to our house, so we always know what’s going on. And it’s evident that Charla is deeply experienced with animals, their needs, and how to take care of them. In summary, Charla is our go-to cat sitter for all extended trips that my wife and I make out of area. I recommend her as very experienced, excellent to work with, and completely dependable.

Charla is a superb cat sitter and my wife & I recommend her very highly. Charla is adept at everything, from caring for our mixed group of four adult cats ( 2 Burmese and 2 rescues ) to sending us text updates twice daily on how the 4 are getting along in our absence. Plus, she sends us super pictures and video, too - which is how we know the cats are getting a lot of exercise and play time with Charla. Which is great! I also know Charla will do a super job of keeping the litter clean, bringing in the mail, and in general - making sure the house and our 4 cats are safe while we’re out of town. Last but not least, Charla communicates very, very well. I also can reach her directly at home if needed, which I did when I forgot to tell her where I left the Vet’s contact info! In closing, there are many excellent cat sitters in our area. But Charla, who has worked for us now three times when we had extended, multiple day trips out of area, is our go-to sitter. She’s the best!

Charla was simply terrific: she texted us twice daily, provided pictures and videos of our cats playing, took care of their food, and cleaned their litter daily - exactly as we asked her to at our meet & greet meeting.
