When I'm not spending my time with my fur baby, I have a full time job working in tech working with data. While staring at a computer all day can be fun for some, I would love to spend less time in... Hi there! My name is Kelly and I got my fur baby a little over 4.5 years ago. I met him on the street and ever since then, we've been inseparable! I had no idea that the little furball I met on the street would become my family.
When I'm not spending my time with my fur baby, I have a full time job working in tech working with data. While staring at a computer all day can be fun for some, I would love to spend less time in front of the computer and get to know more fur babies! I have grown to love kitties so much and would love to meet yours!
I take covid precautions really seriously - am vaccinated and would be happy to show my vaccination card. I could also wear masks when spending time with your kitty, wash my hands when I enter into your home, and do whatever you'd like to make sure you feel comfortable with me interacting in your home and with your fur baby. I also always have hand sanitizer on me.
I look forward to meeting you and yours. It would be my honor to be your caretaker for your kitties :)

We were a bit nervous leaving our cats alone for the 1st time. Kelly looked after Axl and Max for 2 weeks and was great. She took detailed notes in our pre meeting and asked lots of questions about their personalities/habits etc. Axl is very shy, Kelly got him to come out of hiding and trust her for pets/playtime after just a few days. We got daily photos/ video updates which made us feel very much at ease during our vacation. Kelly even check in the day after we got back to see how the boys were doing. We look forward to have Kelly come back and take care of Axl & Max anytime we travel in the future.

Kelly was amazing! We had to make an international trip and asked Kelly to take care of our cats, 1yr and 6mo. Kelly gave them dry and wet food, refilled the water fountain, cleaned the litter boxes, and of course, gave them lots of love and attention. We hadn't made such a long trip and were a bit nervous about leaving our cats; it was all fine because Kelly sent us detailed reports and tons of photos every day, and we were able to see that our cats were happy with Kelly. We will definitely ask her again when we need a cat sitter!

Kelly was a dream! When no other sitters would accept us, due to location, Kelly did! My kitties (3) loved her! All 3 allowed her to pet them and my babies are picky and shy. Kelly gave in-depth daily updates along with pictures and videos. Made traveling away so much easier bc I knew they were being cared for. Anytime we go out of town again, I’ll be booking Kelly!

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.
These are the date ranges in 2026 to which the holiday surcharge applies:
- January 1-4: New Year's 2026
- January 16-22: MLK Day
- February 13-19: Presidents Day
- May 22-28: Memorial Day
- June 16-22: Juneteenth
- July 1-7: July 4th
- September 4-10: Labor Day
- October 9-15: Columbus Day / Indigenous Peoples' Day
- November 8-14: Veterans Day
- November 23-29: Thanksgiving
- December 22-28: Christmas
- December 29-31: New Year's 2027

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

San Diego cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $32.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.

When planning my first trip home after all the pandemic lockdowns, I needed to find someone to care for my kitties while I was away.
