I consider anxious,scared and defensive kitties my favorite kind, there's nothing more special than too befriend them! As a Veterinary Assistant and working in the field I can help parents administer medications regardless if they are topical, oral,or injected.
Having handled many pets at once in the past, upwards to over 60 at once alone, I'm comfortable with multiple cat homes! I'm ready to help all cat owners with my ability to record vitals, and know the values in which your little one's should be in at all times! Always having my stethoscope handy for a proper reading! Monitoring their behavior is important for older and sick pets! I'd like to offer comfort, peace and constant supervision along with lots of love!
I couldn't imagine myself doing anything else, cats especially being my favorite furry friend. In this day and age something as wonderful as this service exisit, allowing our kitties the freedom of worries from separation anxiety! Here's to one less lonely cat!

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I have been cat sitting since 2010, my own and my family's. I've also legally been giving care since 2018 when I was at PIMA for my veterinary assistant courses. I've specialized with cats always since I was already known to have the qualities of a cat whisperer, rarely being disliked by cats.
What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
The care I provide gives me a sense of pride. I'm very capable when it comes to medical care and quality play time, giving my cat friend's 1000% of my attention and love.
Can you tell us about your favorite cat sitting reservation?
Bubba is one of my newest friends, and quickly stole my heart. They're the sweetest kitty I've ever met! I'm very greatful to have met their owner!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?
Ask any and all questions! No matter the time of day reach out with any info, ideas or worries!
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
After establishing a reservation I reach out to confirm all is as the parent would like, then set up a meet and greet! It's always fun to meet new furry friends and their parents! Once I've gone over , I'll ask many questions if they haven't gone over their own process of cleaning up after and feeding their little one's. At this point I do my best to introduce myself to the furry little one's, at times even from the start of the meet and greet depending on the cat. Once I receive the keys I'll make sure to keep them safe til the day of the reservation.
How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
Constant supervision meaning I follow my furry friend everywhere they go after establishing a clean house! I check every inch of the house , more so to ensure I haven't missed anything!
Are you usually available during holidays?
I love to spread holiday cheer, so my holidays are all available!
What is your favorite cat toy?
Anything on a string is genuinely the best toy ever! Cats are great at jumping and I find it truly adorable.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
Go the slowest you can, be patient and quiet. I've rescued many stray and feral cat's by doing so, and avoiding eye contact to ensure trust. I try to have snacks available if approved!

We have two 18 year-old kitties with kidney disease that we left in Paola’s care for two weeks. They received daily oral meds as well as every other day, subq fluids, and their feeding requires patience and persistence as they are primarily finger fed. Paola did an outstanding job taking care of them. They welcomed us home in good spirits, that tells me that they were happy and comfortable with Paola while we were gone and not overly upset with our leaving them. Most importantly, they maintained their weight, so she did a good job with the feeding regimen. Highly recommend!

This is the 2nd time I’ve booked with Paola and she was wonderful. She sent picture and video updates and made me feel at ease while I was away. Paola was amazing from the very start with us and our cats, at the meet and greet with our kitties she was so gentle and quiet as to not startle them as they’re quite shy of other humans. She even managed to give one of them Churu treats, so her being a cat whisperer might be true :) During our time away from our cats Paola kept us updated every day and sent pictures and videos for us to see. She kept everything neat and tidy for our kitties as well which is a super plus as one of our kitties have asthma. Paola has been a wonderful cat sitter for us and we would happily trust her with our cats again!

Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.
If it doesn't feel like a purrfect fit after a Meet & Greet or during a reservation, our support team is here to help at 1-844-Meowtel (1-844-636-9835). We'll take time to understand what happened and help you consider next steps, which could include help with a new reservation.
San Diego cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $32.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
Cats are territorial animals and don't do well in new environments. The presence of other cats, dogs, and even birds in kennels or animal hotels cause an immense amount of stress. This is why Meowtel was created, so tailored in-home care is brought to you.
We recommend booking daily visits to keep your cats in their routine and help minimize feline anxiety while you're away.

Paola took great care of my fur babies while I was on vacation. She went above and beyond. Upon meeting her, she will ask questions on your preferences and she will answer any question you have for her. She also respond on timely manner! My fur babies are really shy when meeting strangers but when they met her, I saw that they were comfortable with her. I think Paola is a cat whisperer 😂 She was able to bond with them ! I am really thankful of meeting Paola! Will definitely recommend her !
