Cats and their health/happiness is extremely important to me, so rest assured, if you choose me as your sitter, your fur-baby will be in great hands! I have ample experience with transferring cats to crates for transport, administering flea medication and eardrops, adhering to a specialized diet, playing until neither of us can continue standing upright, and am happy to risk a few bite and claw marks in the pursuit of giving a cat the love and attention it deserves.

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?

I have been cat sitting on and off for friends and relatives for several years, including feeding them, cleaning up after them, spending quality time with them, giving them ample amounts of attention and care, as well as administering medications, if applicable.

How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?

I like to do a thorough once-over of the home (while making sure not to violate anyone's privacy) to check for open doors or windows, possible escape points a particularly mischievous cat could take advantage of, making sure there's no stray plastic or small objects they could swallow and hurt themselves with, and to check for any items lying around that could prove potentially hazardous or fatal to cats, such as certain types of plants or flowers. If any such items are discovered, I would take measures to either remove them or move them to a location inaccessible by the cat (after consulting with and getting permission from the owner, of course).

What is your favorite cat toy?

There's a type of toy my cat really loves that is essentially an unbent, very thin and wobbly wire hanger with a few pieces of rolled paper hooked on the end. It makes a crinkly noise when it touches surfaces, and very subtle movements with it can mimics the way an insect flies, which makes most cats I've tried it on go crazy for it.

It's always hard to leave our pets behind when going on vacation. You can't help worry about their well-being... especially if a stranger is taking care of them. Jonnie quickly put our minds at ease upon meeting him. Annie was taken well care of and pics/videos were sent daily for peace of mind. Thanks to Jonnie, we were able to truly relax and enjoy our time away from home. We highly recommend him for kitty sitting :)

Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.

All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
