I have been lovingly and professionally caring for pets for over 20 years. What started as a lifelong passion has become my full-time profession, allowing me to dedicate my complete attention to the animals in my care. My experience is extensive and includes caring for senior cats, administering oral medications, and providing attentive companionship for cats with a wide range of personalities and needs. I pride myself on being reliable, observant, and intuitive.

How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?

Ensuring the safety of the cats and the security of your home are my absolute top priorities. For the cats, I am meticulous about following all feeding and care routines. I ensure all doors and windows are secure before, during, and after my visit. I do a visual check on each cat upon arrival and before I leave to ensure they are happy and healthy. For your home, I am very mindful of security. I make sure the door is always locked securely upon entry and exit. I also make it a point to bring in any mail or packages to give your home a lived-in look. I am a respectful and tidy guest, always leaving your home just as I found it.

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

My approach is built on patience and respect for the cat's boundaries. The most important rule is to let the cat make the first move and control the pace of our interaction. I start by avoiding direct eye contact and using a calm, quiet voice. I'll often sit on the floor to make myself smaller and less intimidating, and let them approach and sniff me on their own terms. I use "slow blinks" to communicate that I am a friend and not a threat. For some cats, the best way to build trust is through gentle play with a long wand toy, which allows us to interact from a distance where they feel safe. For others, the best care I can provide is simply a calm, quiet presence, ensuring their needs are met without forcing interaction.

Kenny was an amazing sitter. We were gone for two weeks and he came in daily to care for our two cats Angel and Diana. Diana doesn’t like meeting new people and spent the first two days under the bed/sofa but Kenny won her over and soon she was greeting him at the door. Kenny administered topical treatment for Angel every day and included their supplements. He kept the litter boxes immaculate and sent us pics and videos of the cats playing. It was easy to set up access because Kenny was already familiar with our building’s system. We needed an extra day due to flight delays and Kenny stepped in to cover the gap. We will definitely be using Kenny for all our trips!

Kenny took care of my two boys (12-yr-old male cats) for several days. I asked him to come for 45 minutes, which I am sure the kitties appreciated. Cancellation Policy

Cat parents may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a full refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Cat parents will receive a full refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Cat parents will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the cat parent cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
