What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
The cats personalities!! I’m a firm believer in cats having great and interesting personalities. I also find it to be soothing and often very entertaining.
Can you tell us about your favorite cat sitting reservation?
I have experience with my friend’s three cats, Mag, Nell and mister Big Stuff, Rocky. They are super cute and very different from each other. From Rocky who has a big man on campus vibe, to Nell who is a sweetie and the mysterious Mag who always makes me look for her. They keep me on my toes!
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
My long time cat, Morena, passed after 18.5 years of being my fur baby and I still miss her! Currently, I’m working to fully adopt an auntie and nephew cat combo named Tuxey and GreyGory. They appeared on our block and we are halfway to adoption. I have gained their trust so far enough for them to enter our home. It’s a journey!

Tamara was incredible! My cat has separation anxiety and poops the bed when I leave. Tamara was super understanding and cleaned it up. When my cats water filter broke, she even looked up online and tried to troubleshoot it. Great pics and communication. Highly recommend!

Tamara is an absolutely FIRST RATE pet sitter! From the moment we did our "meet and greet", I was totally at ease with Tamara. We have 2 cats that couldn't possibly be so very different from each other and she did an absolutely amazing job of dealing with both our confirmed "door dashing" Fenway, and our shy boy, Ebbett. She was able to get Ebbett to FINALLY come out of his shell and be with her! The cats were very well cared overnight for while we were gone for the 4th of July weekend and our house was exactly as we left it. If you are looking for a trustworthy, punctual pet sitter for short or long term, contact Tamara! We will be booking Tamara for any future pet sitting needs!

Tamara is the most amazing cat sitter we’ve found she ado Oddo‘s. The girls spend so much time with them not just feeding them and cleaning the box but treats them like they’re her own. We come back to the home in better shape than we left it. I can’t say enough great things about Tamara.

If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

San Jose cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $39.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
