My name is Susan Edwards. I am a crazy cat lady from Santa Clarita CA, and I wear that title with honor and pride. I am currently owned by four cats of my own. My interest in pet sitting began in 2016 while volunteering at a local cat rescue. My experience there led me to some of my very first jobs. In the beginning of my pet sitting journey, I was a full-time sitter for all types of pets. I cared for cats, dogs, bunnies, chickens, and an assortment of other small creatures. When the pandemic hit, I temporarily cut back on pet sitting and transitioned to a full-time administration job. That job ended in 2021. I am now happily back to pet sitting as my primary job. This time I am focusing on cats. 😺 My experience, largely gained through my work with the Heaven on Earth rescue, spans various types, ages, and personalities of cats. As a volunteer there, I assisted in adoption events, cared for the cats at the local Petsmart, and spent countless hours at their sanctuary, helping socialize the shy and spicy kitties. Susan, was simply fantastic. The Hughes fire broke out while I was gone and she kept my mind and he is taking care of my cats while I was out of town on business. I can’t recommend her highly enough she’s conscientious and a great cat friend. She was able to get my shy cat out of her shell in a couple of days my previous cat sit it took weeks . Cancellation Policy
Customers may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a 100% refund and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
Customers will receive a 100% refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation and the sitter will not receive any earnings.
Customers will receive a 50% refund and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the customer cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.
No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
The Meowtel Promise & Satisfaction Guarantee
We are proud to provide each of our independently-contracted Meowtel cat sitters with the full benefits of our Meowtel Promise on eligible reservations. For reservations where each visit is at or above $20 and paid for through Meowtel, your cat(s) will automatically be covered under our insurance policy in the event that things don't go as planned.
If you are not fully satisfied with your sitter after the Meet & Greet or during the reservation, please call 1-844-636-9835 so we can help you re-book with a new sitter to ensure we can deliver on our purrfect hospitality promise.
