Thank you for checking out my profile! I am a lover of all animals but particularly cats. I grew up with three indoor/outdoor cats, two of which were feral, and currently have my own indoor black DLH boy along with two large dogs. I was previously a high school band and orchestra teacher.

Each cat has their own personality and I love getting to know each one. I particularly like giving my clients peace of mind while they are out. I treat them as if they were my own, and update you with any questions or concerns

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?

Make sure to have a meet and greet. It's vital to make sure your caregiver gets along with your cat as well as familiarize themselves with the space to know of any common hiding areas.

I have booked Amanda many times for my senior cat Bella. Amanda is very detailed and will ask good questions to make sure she is giving the best care. Bella is not very social but has warmed up to Amanda and Bella is always perky and healthy when I return. Amanda will do extra things like pull up the garbage bins without my havibg to ask. I appreciate her care!

Amanda is incredible! we have 4 kitties and they are quite the handful. She was great with all their different foods and personalities. the updates made being away so much less stressful. pictures, videos, and an overview of each visit. she was so patient with my shy girl, and helped our new kittens run through their energy and sleep through the night. so grateful for her care an attention taking care of my kitties.

Amanda is absolutely fantastic!! She took the time to get to know our two boys before we left, which was a huge comfort. She sent updates and pictures for every visit, and saved us a huge water bill when our cats accidentally turned on the sink! She was very responsive, on time, and took amazing care of our boys. Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.

All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
