Currently, I live in Westminster, CO and have two senior kitties that are my pride and joy. Along with my personal history of cat care, I have volunteered extensively at animal shelters and humane societies... Hello! I'm Jess, and I have been a cat lover since I was about 5 years old. I grew up in a remote part of FL and taking care of cats and kitties was a hallmark of my childhood.
Currently, I live in Westminster, CO and have two senior kitties that are my pride and joy. Along with my personal history of cat care, I have volunteered extensively at animal shelters and humane societies.
I do have a full time corporate job but I work from home so my schedule is very flexible! I am trying to earn supplemental income to help save for a house and pay for our wedding.
I am a reliable and compassionate person and strive to provide the best service to my clients. Cats are family and deserve to be treated with the utmost care.
Communication and timeliness is important to me. I will folllow all heath and safety rules for your home and pets, and am happy to be in constant contact.
My schedule is flexible, but I prefer early morning visits, evening visits, and I'm open on the weekends and holidays.

What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
Meet & greets are important to ensure we are a good match for each other! We will review expectations, routines, and discuss the best communication strategy.
How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
We will discuss any safety concerns ahead of my visit, but I always make sure doors are closed behind me, no dangerous items (strings, hair ties, ect) are in reach, and ensure there is fresh water and food available. We all know clean litter boxes are important! Your cats safety, comfort, and happiness is my number one priority.

Jessica was amazing! She definitely has some cat whisperer skills because she was able to get my cats to warm up to her, let her pet them and play with them. One of my cats is a very picky eater and Jessica was able to get her to eat by hand feeding her like I do which is unheard of. She was very flexible with a few additional requests I had and I feel confident the girls were very well taken care of in my absence. I will use Jessica again in the future and I highly recommend her and her services.

Jessica was very patient with my older cat, giving him time and space to adjust to a new cat sitter. He went from always hiding on the first trip to a quick peek at the end of second trip and then fully out and about on the third trip. Jessica took the time to do another greeting visit before I left on the third trip and that really helped him be comfortable! Thank you!!

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.
These are the date ranges in 2026 to which the holiday surcharge applies:
- January 1-4: New Year's 2026
- January 16-22: MLK Day
- February 13-19: Presidents Day
- May 22-28: Memorial Day
- June 16-22: Juneteenth
- July 1-7: July 4th
- September 4-10: Labor Day
- October 9-15: Columbus Day / Indigenous Peoples' Day
- November 8-14: Veterans Day
- November 23-29: Thanksgiving

- December 29-31: New Year's 2027

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Broomfield cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $28.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
