"This was my first booking with Christian, and I honestly couldn't have asked for a better experience. From our initial meet-and-greet, he took the time to really listen, asked thoughtful questions, and made a point to respect my cat Haggy's boundaries instead of trying to force an interaction. Haggy is pretty shy around new people, so that immediately gave me confidence that Christian understood how to approach him. Throughout the week, Christian was an exceptional communicator. Every visit came with a detailed update, wonderful photos and videos, and I always knew exactly how Haggy was doing. He followed every instruction perfectly, took great care of my plants, and made it so easy to relax and enjoy my trip knowing everything back home was in good hands. What I didn't expect—and what meant the most to me—was watching Haggy slowly come out of his shell. Christian sent videos of them playing Haggy's favorite stick-and-string game, and by the end of the week Haggy was happily chirping at him, playing, and genuinely enjoying his company. I never would have guessed that my shy cat would build that kind of trust with someone in just a week. Coming home to a happy, comfortable cat instead of one who was simply "looked after" made all the difference. I now know that when I'm away, Haggy won't just have someone meeting his basic needs—he'll have someone who truly cares about him and enjoys spending time with him. One thing that especially stood out to me was that Christian didn't consider the job finished the moment the booking ended. He made sure to confirm that I had made it home safely and that Haggy was back in his normal routine. That extra level of care ended up being invaluable because I missed my flight home and unexpectedly needed another day of care. Christian was able to step right back in, ensuring Haggy had continuous care until I made it home. That level of professionalism, flexibility, and genuine concern gave me tremendous peace of mind. With our guy, he had a history of scaring off pet sitters (including vet techs) because he’d get scared that we’re not at home and the sitter would complain that they weren’t able to administer his insulin. Not Julia! Julia was calm and patient, which is exactly the energy our kitty needs when he’s out of his routine. She also met him where he was at that day with energy levels and didn’t force him or chase him. I really, really appreciated this. She’s clearly worked with older grumpy/scaredy cats before! Julia got to our house when she said she would; was very communicative about what she did and her, and checked in with me about behavior questions. I was so appreciative."

Throughout the visits, his ability to 'tap into' the needs of our senior, blind kitty was almost a 'vet-trained, animal-psychologist' level of intuition and knowledge. He treated our cat as if it were his own, and as if it were not a business transaction. We come home to a cat who is calm, clean, and acting as if we just stepped out for a minute, not a week. Moving forward, I'd highly recommend to anybody, especially those who have a special needs cat or are a little anxious about leaving their little feline behind."

Our cats (2) generally are self sufficient but one of them was just recently put on an antibiotic pill and we had a trip right around the corner. Teresa was quick to respond to my extremely last minute initial request, came to meet our kitties the next day (on Christmas!) and watched them the next three days. In addition to the basics (litter/food/water), she gave Jack his pills, turned on JoJo’s favorite toy, and sent us pictures and updates every visit. We are so grateful for Teresa, we were able to enjoy our trip knowing our cats were well taken care of. I would give Teresa 6 stars if I could!"
