I have plenty of experience taking care of fur babies especially cats! My childhood cat Star was a year older than me and she lived to be 20! I was very blessed to have grown up with her for so many years! As a kid once I reached a certain age it became my responsibility to take care of her and all her needs of course as she got older she also had more need... Hii! I'm Seaera and I'm 22 and I absolutely love cats and can't wait to take care of your fur babies!
I have plenty of experience taking care of fur babies especially cats! My childhood cat Star was a year older than me and she lived to be 20! I was very blessed to have grown up with her for so many years! As a kid once I reached a certain age it became my responsibility to take care of her and all her needs of course as she got older she also had more needs like giving her different medications. Well taking care of her I also fostered a few cats over the years.
I currently have two furry babies at home who are just over a year old. They're brother and sister Jasmine and Binx. They're such a funny little pair Binx is a big boy but is super shy and is pretty much scared of his own shadow while his sister is outgoing and very nosy!
I've also been a pet sitter on Rover for about 3 years and I am a star sitter!

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
Besides growing up with cats my whole life I've been pet sitting for about 10 years and I have been on Rover for about 3 years and I'm considered a star sitter!
What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
I have always loved cats since I was a kid and was always called a crazy cat lady! So I really enjoy being able to meet so many kitties and spend time with them since I can't have a whole farm of cats 😂
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
I've handled multiple cats that are timid and anxious, even my own and what I've found best is to give them their space and let them come to you and get comfortable with you in their space! It's always best to move slowly and maybe give them a treat or two to let them know that you're friendly!

If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.
