Whether your cat is playful and social, shy and reserved, or somewhere in between, I take the time to earn their trust and provide care tailored to their needs... Hi! My name is Aliyah, and caring for cats has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up loving cats and currently share my home with four of my own, so I understand that every cat has a unique personality, routine, and comfort level.
As a cat sitter, my goal is to make your cat feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. Whether your cat is playful and social, shy and reserved, or somewhere in between, I take the time to earn their trust and provide care tailored to their needs. During visits, I make sure food and water are fresh, litter boxes are clean, and your cat receives plenty of attention, playtime, and affection (on their terms, of course!).
I know how important communication is when you're away from your pets, so I provide regular updates and photos to give you peace of mind. I treat every cat as if they were one of my own and strive to maintain their normal routine as closely as possible.
What sets me apart is my genuine love for cats and firsthand experience caring for multiple cats with different personalities and needs. I understand the little things that make a big difference—from respecting a nervous cat's space to knowing when a playful cat needs extra enrichment.

I have 4 cats of my own! My first cat, his name is Milo. He is a 6 year old orange tabby. My second is Vasia, he is a Russian blue. My third and fourth are Beerus and Farley, they are brother sister Ragdolls from the same litter!😸
How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
During every visit, I will ensure doors, windows, and gates are secure before entering and leaving. I carefully follow all care instructions, including feeding schedules, medication administration, and any household rules you provide. I am attentive to changes in a cat's behavior, appetite, or health and will promptly communicate any concerns. As a cat owner myself, I understand the trust involved in leaving your pets and home in someone else's care, and I treat both with the same level of responsibility and respect that I would expect for my own.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
Timid and anxious cats require patience, understanding, and respect for their boundaries. I never force interactions and instead allow them to approach me at their own pace. During visits, I will maintain a calm and quiet presence, follow their established routine, and create a stress-free environment. I pay close attention to their body language and comfort level, offering gentle encouragement through treats, toys, or soft conversation when appropriate. My experience caring for my own four cats has taught me that building trust takes time, and I am committed to making each cat feel safe, secure, and cared for while their family is away.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.
