I don’t have too much experience with other people's cats but I have 4 of my own who all have completely different personalities. I’ve had Prissy & Sissy the longest, when I got them I didn’t know anything about cats. I was only ever used to seeing stray cats well we call them alley cats where I’m from and growing up we used to put food out and call out “here kitty kitty” and the cats would come running... Cats are so awesome and it saddens me that they get such a bad reputation. Cats have a lot of personality and yes some can be mean but for the most part once you get to know a cat and you really see their personality they are so sweet, some are so playful and just a ball of fun.

I got Kit Kat (2k) a year later, I saw him at petsmart and he was just a little ball of fluff, very vocal still is and I was like oh I have to take him. Kitty Kat actually just walked right into my house, I’ve had her ever since. She’s the sweetest of all my cats. I also used to take care of a stray where I used to live. It wouldn’t let me get close to it but it would wait by the bushes by my house for me to come put out food and water.
I honestly feel like as long as you respect a cat's boundaries they are fine. I am primarily a dog groomer but have wanted to learn how to groom cats as well.
I’m not picky about a specific time of day I’m pretty open and available whenever needed. I also don’t mind traveling outside of the 15 mile radius, if you have any questions just message me and ask.

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
Getting to meet new cats and watching how they warm up to me, also learning their different personalities especially homes with multiple cats
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
Prissy, Sissy, 2k (Kit Kat), and Kitty Kat who I unfortunately had to put to sleep recently. She was really sick and I did what I believe was best for her.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?
Ask questions, voice concerns.
Are you usually available during holidays?
Yes, I’m typically available during holidays. I won’t be available during Christmas and New Years this year. Im pregnant and due around Christmas☺️
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
Depending on how long the reservation is I give them a little space, I do what I need to do and let them come to me if they want. If they have some type of treat I try to give that to them so they know I’m a friend.

Ravanni did a great job taking care of our 4 cats while we were away for 3 weeks, including giving one of our cats medicine every day. She was reliable and communicative and was there for our kitties when there was a storm and they were scared. I would definitely hire her again in the future as I trust her with my fur babies.

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.
These are the date ranges in 2026 to which the holiday surcharge applies:
- January 1-4: New Year's 2026
- January 16-22: MLK Day
- February 13-19: Presidents Day
- May 22-28: Memorial Day
- June 16-22: Juneteenth
- July 1-7: July 4th
- September 4-10: Labor Day
- October 9-15: Columbus Day / Indigenous Peoples' Day
- November 8-14: Veterans Day
- November 23-29: Thanksgiving
- December 22-28: Christmas
- December 29-31: New Year's 2027

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Orlando cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $26.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
