I’ve been around cats my entire life and am comfortable with all personalities from confident cuddle bugs to shy little hiders who just need a calm, quiet presence... Hi! I’m Jessica! A lifelong cat lover and proud cat mom to two of my own. I know firsthand how much trust it takes to leave your cat in someone else’s care, and I treat every visit with the same attention and kindness I’d want for my own.
I’ve been around cats my entire life and am comfortable with all personalities from confident cuddle bugs to shy little hiders who just need a calm, quiet presence. I always let cats set the pace and focus on creating a peaceful, low-stress environment while you’re away. I fully respect under-the-bed hiding strategies and believe trust is earned, not rushed.
During each drop-in visit, I provide attentive care including feeding, fresh water, litter scooping, and playtime (wand toy enthusiast here!). I also keep an eye on appetite and behavior, and I send thoughtful updates with photos so you can feel connected and reassured while you’re gone.
My goal is simple: for your cat to feel safe, respected, and maybe even a little spoiled. And for you to have complete peace of mind.

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
What I enjoy most about cat sitting is simply spending quality time with cats on their terms. I love seeing a shy cat slowly gain trust, the little moments when they nuzzle your hand, or when they play with a toy for the first time. I also love being a part of their daily routine. Feeding, watching their unique personalities shine, and knowing I’m helping both the cat and their human feel safe and cared for. Every cat has their quirks and rhythms, and being invited into that little world is honestly the best part of the job.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
Luna and Lucy are my furbabies. Luna will be 12 in May and Lucy will be 6 in April. Luna is a born Floridian. She was rescued at 8 weeks old at a shelter in Orlando. She has traveled all over with me. Orlando to Chicago to Buffalo and back home to Orlando. Lucy is my cold weather girl. She was born in Buffalo and rescued at 5 months old. Luna has a sassy personality and will let you know what shes feeling but a heart of gold. Lucy is a playful, best cuddle giver, silly calico girl. Luna loves her space but will give cuddles on her own terms. She never misses bed time and will always sleep between my legs every night. Lucy loves her churu treats and will beg for more each time. They both have amazing and unique personalities.
How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
Your cat’s safety (and your peace of mind!) is my top priority. I follow their routine carefully, keep doors and windows secure, and respect all hiding spots and boundaries. I monitor appetite, litter habits, and behavior, and I provide thoughtful daily updates with photos so you know your cat is happy, safe, and cared for. I also keep emergency contacts on hand and am prepared to act quickly if needed, so your home and furry friend are in reliable hands.

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.
These are the date ranges in 2026 to which the holiday surcharge applies:
- January 1-4: New Year's 2026
- January 16-22: MLK Day
- February 13-19: Presidents Day
- May 22-28: Memorial Day
- June 16-22: Juneteenth
- July 1-7: July 4th

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Winter Garden cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $25.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
