I cannot say enough wonderful things about Lorelei! From the moment we had our initial meet and greet, my 3 boys came right up to her. They are generally cautious of new visitors, but they were drawn to her immediately. We discussed the ins and outs of their daily routine as well as feeding instructions. My kitty who needs daily medications allowed her to pick him up no problem and I was amazed as he is my shy boy. I could relax a bit knowing they would be in such caring hands. I was gone for several days and Lorelei sent daily updates with photos and videos. She brought a toy over that they absolutely loved and she brushed all 3 on every visit. I could tell from the videos how happy they were to have her there as they are extremely attached to me and not used to being alone for long stretches (I work from home). Attention to detail was given to everything she did and when I arrived home, I swear they looked so fresh and happy! They definitely were excited to have mommy home but were also looking for Lorelei. She made this nervous momma so at ease and the experience was without a doubt, one of the best decisions I have ever made for them. It allowed me peace and I will definitely be using her for babysitting needs in the future. If you are looking for the purrfect kitty sitter, look no further. I've never used a pet service before and was very nervous. I feel like I hit the jackpot with Lorelei. From the first visit she was professional and reassuring. Jax.R.Carlile came right out to meet her when she came over for the introductory visit and was rubbing his whiskers on her. She provided daily pics and videos plus updates about his eating and litter box. She spent time and played with him every visit. I will request Lorelei again in the future.

Lorelei was the perfect match for my boys! She was beyond communicative, kind, and loving. I could even notice a difference in my shy boy when I got home, Lorelei was able to get him to come out of his shell even more! Lorelei was excellent with our senior cats! Every session, Lorelei had great communication and was gentle and kind to our 3 furbabies. Photo and video updates were provided daily, with descriptions of their eating and bathroom habits for the day as well. It made traveling so easy for my husband and I. I can’t say enough wonderful things about Lorelei—she has truly been a gift to our family and to our cat, Winnie. Winnie can be a difficult cat: she’s not especially friendly, gets stressed easily, and has a stress-induced illness (FIC) that can flare up with any disruption. Because of this, we’ve rarely felt comfortable being away from her for long. Lorelei went above and beyond from the start. She spent a generous amount of time with us during a pre-visit to learn all about Winnie’s needs and routines. Amazingly, Winnie took to her right away—in her own cautious way, of course—which spoke volumes to us. We just returned from a week away, and Winnie did incredibly well under Lorelei’s care. We received regular, thoughtful updates with plenty of pictures and videos, which gave us so much peace of mind. For the first time in a long time, I was able to truly relax, knowing that Winnie was in excellent hands. Lorelei also handled Winnie’s extensive medications and supplements with care and confidence, and everything was neat and tidy when we got home. I honestly think Winnie missed her today and hopes she’ll come back soon! We feel like we’ve gained not just an amazing cat sitter, but a new friend. Thank you, Lorelei!

We have 2 Ragdolls, ages 2 & 4. We have had the most incredible experiences with Lorelei for over 2 years now. We feel lucky to have met her through the app. Lorelei is that rare sitter who does every single thing we ask of her plus more. Not only does she always appear on time and stay past the expected shifts, but she does so many things that are beyond the checklist of cat chores. Lorelei is unusually brilliant while also compassionate. She’s that sitter who will bring boxes and packages left on the doorstep inside the house without being told. She checks our mailbox for us without being asked. She takes the initiative to take care of pop up issues such as, this last trip away from home when the water bowl fountain pump stopped working. Lorelei disassembled and cleaned the interior parts of the pump 3 times and got it working again while I was away. 95% of sitters will leave a broken appliance broke and possibly leave me a note to come home to. Not Lorelei! She cleans the bowls and feeding area, meticulously tends to the litter pans, plays games with them, combs them so they stay free of tangles, and she talks to my cats in her unique cat speak which my cats are mesmerized by. Lorelei is very empathetic and sends the most perfect messages and photos that tell us what’s going on everyday. She even tailors her messages to the number and frequency we want. The most valuable for me is that she reassures me in such a detailed way and in actions far beyond the script that I’ve never worried about the cats, ever. She does a walk through and checks for spit ups and rambunctious rearrangements of things lying around. She checks for any accident prone areas such as doors which can close a pet up inside a room, for example. She adjusts the thermostats in changes of weather, even. Lorelei’s exceptional honesty and gift of an outstanding work ethic is what removes any and all possible worries a cat owner might have. We feel extraordinarily lucky to have been blessed with meeting Lorelei!

Lorelei is a lifesaver! Our kitty, Kiwi, was showing some concerning symptoms while we were away and Lorelei gave us lots of information and her honest opinion of next steps. I don’t even know where to begin! Lorelei eased all of my anxieties leaving my two cats at home on our 5 day trip. Lorelei was a dream come true! I have 3 cats, that have a lot of specific care requirements and medications. She handled all the directions and reported back about them all. Additionally, I have a cat who is scared of almost everyone and Lorelei was able to get her out, pet her, and give her medicine. She also sent many updates, photos, and played with my cats every visit. I felt great leaving my cats with her.

Lorelei was such a help to me! My cat had a UTI and was put on antibiotics right before I had a trip scheduled. I booked Lorelei last minute. Lorelei was honestly the best sitter we ever had. Our two girls who are usually shy and hide, immediately warmed up to her, I have never seen them be so social and cuddly with someone new. Lorelei took care of our recently adopted FIV positive cat, Bogey, while we went out of town a few days. She did an amazing job, and was able to get Bogey to come out of his shell (or in this case out from under the couch) way more easily than I expected! I can't express how glad I am to have found Lorelei! I travel for work and occasionally have to stay out a bit longer than expected. I extended my reservation by one day, and returned to all the cat dishes washed. Just a simple gesture, but it showed she cares about my fur babies. if you’re looking for a cat sitter, you can stop scrolling, Lorelei is the one! As a person, she is the sweetest person I have ever met and as a cat sitter she’s simply the best! My cat is elderly and doesn’t really like strangers but Lorelei absolutely got him out of his shell! I could really tell she was caring for my cat as if he was her own. Her updates were so thorough I felt like I hadn’t even left him. Lorelei followed all my instructions to a tee and even got him to take his medication (which can be a hassle). Unlike all the people I found on care.com who were “babysitters who also watch cats”, Lorelei is a cat sitter through and through! Honestly there’s no one else I’d rather have watching my cat! I won’t even give it a second thought before hiring her next time, there’s literally not one thing she could have done to improve.

I have never left my kitty, Piper, with a sitter before Lorelei. Piper has liver Shunt disease and requires extra attention along with meds. I never trusted anyone outside of family to care for her…that is until now. Lorelai did great taking care of my kitties while I was out! she communicated well with daily updates and videos of the cats and gave me peace of mind while I was away :)
