What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?

My friend across the street growing up has had times where she’s needed me to feed and water her cat while she’s on vacation. This all happened for a week straight each time, every single day that week. This happened around four times in total.

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

I have one cat named Atlas, he is an orange house cat and he has a stubby tail, like a bobcat!

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

I usually make sure i know what toys and treats the cat likes from the parents, and i make sure to have those near me while introducing myself to a timid cat. I will sit in a room they’re most comfortable with and sit there with treats in hand, seeing if they’ll try to approach me. if they’re incredibly timid, i’ll keep my distance and try not to make loud noises as to not startle them.

Cancellation Policy

Cat parents may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a full refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Cat parents will receive a full refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Cat parents will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the cat parent cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
