Growing up I've had pets of all shapes and sizes, but cats have always held a special place in my heart. In that time I've gotten to know many cats, each with their own unique personalities and quirks. I've never met a cat who hasn't liked me, and even ones with apprehensive natures warm up to me pretty quickly. On my cat sitting visits I want to make sure the parents have piece o... I've never met a cat who hasn't liked me, and even ones with apprehensive natures warm up to me pretty quickly. On my cat sitting visits I want to make sure the parents have piece of mind. I have a very high attention to detail and will follow all instructions to a T. Cats are creatures of habit and routine, the more I can stick to what they're used to the happier they'll be despite the fact that their parents are away. For cats that need a little extra care, I'm proficient in administering topical, oral, and ear medications with minimal stress for the cat.

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

Being able to meet new cats! Each new cat is like making a new friend, and earning the trust of each cat is so rewarding. I love learning new things about cats, and each experience makes me even that much better at taking care of them; whether it's my own cats or the next ones I cat sit.

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

Currently I have 3 cats, three tabbies named Minx, Freya, and Artemis (Artie for short). I actually just moved to the Atlanta area this year, and introducing Minx to my partner's cats has been a delicate process requiring a lot of patience. But, after just a few months of progress, all three cats are finally settling in well with each other.

How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?

By making sure I follow all instructions left for me exactly as they're given, and double checking to make sure it's all done properly. I also make sure I have eyes on the cats during my visit. I know some very skittish cats may take a bit to come out of hiding, but for my own peace of mind I'd wait until I've seen them for my visit to end.

Ash took great care of our senior kitty, Chili! Due to her age and health conditions, Chili has higher care requirements than a younger cat. I feel that Ash went above and beyond to make sure Chili was well cared for and had a clean environment (she can be messy in the litter box). We will definitely use Ash again for kitty care!

Ash is an awesome cat sitter. Gave great updates everyday I was away and treated my cat so well! Ash learned how to give my cat an inhaler and despite having to give her meds everyday my cat still seemed to love Ash and want to sit in their lap and get lots of pets and love!

Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:


  • More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
  • 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
  • Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.

All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.

Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Atlanta cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $26.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
