I have three cats of my own. Shadow, 16, Porkchop, 10, and Bellatrix, 1. Shadow is in good health for being an old man, but my vet and I have made some light adjustments to keep him this way. This includes medicine and supplements in his special food and subq fluids. I feel very comfortable with elderly cat care as I do it every day. A little about myself is I’m an introverted extrovert. I work a typical 9-5, so I could hopefully line up with your typical schedule! I would love to care for your pet as well as I care for my own. I’m comfortable cleaning any surprises they may leave behind. Happy to answers any questions as I know building trust makes the process of leaving your babies behind easier!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?

Find someone who is ready to respect your space and your cat’s space. Someone who isn’t just willing to check boxes of care, but does each action intentionally and carefully.

What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?

I plan on letting the cat parent lead in a way that feels comfortable for them. I will inquire about their cat’s specific habits, mannerisms, quirks. Signs I should look for if something is wrong. Their daily routine. I think it is best to meet kitty and parent ahead of time so I can meet your pet(s) during there most comfortable time (with you)!

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

My cat can often be both timid and anxious. I will give him space or meet him in his chosen space quietly and slowly. Encouraging noises and words. Will pet if they are giving off those vibes.

Mindy was an absolutely amazing sitter. We could tell from the first meeting that she would be great. She was extremely attentive and asked thoughtful questions about the care of our cats. During each visit Mindy shared updates on the cats health and attitudes with a few photos. We really appreciate Mindy going above and beyond to care for our cats and help us out with a few other non cat sitter related items too. Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:


  • More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
  • 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
  • Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.

All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
