I have two cats. Their names are Keanu and Parker. Keanu is a chatty boy who loves being held, and Parker prefers to keep people at arms length, especially when asking to play, as she's likes things on her own terms.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?

I'd ask what will help you feel trust in the process. Letting someone care for your pet can be stressful, so knowing what you think you'll need and using that to read through profiles to pick a person who is a good fit is important. I'd also tell them to not be afraid about asking for things that might not be listed, communicating that this is your first time hiring a cat sitter, noting if you've had bad experiences in the past can all be helpful in finding the right fit.

What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?

I usually will ask more follow up questions when working with a new cat parent. Depending on if new means it's their first pet, if new means it's been a short period of time they've had the cat, or both. As that can really help with knowing where the cat likely is emotionally, and how much support/information the owner will want.

Cancellation Policy

Customers may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a 100% refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Customers will receive a 100% refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Customers will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the customer cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
