What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

I enjoy getting to know what type of behaviors they express, whether they are timid, energetic, or just plain lazy. Cats can be unpredictable, but they make the best pets!

Can you tell us about your favorite cat sitting reservation?

My last reservation I took care of my cousin’s 2 Bengal cats. One of them, Ping was very energetic and he kept me on my toes, while Po was very laid back and chill. It was always funny feeding them dinner because Ping would constantly meow as loud as he could, it would echo throughout the house!

What is your favorite cat toy?

Can’t go wrong with the laser pointer! It’s always entertaining watching kitties try to catch the laser! I had one cat try to eat the laser… poor guy.. there’s nothing there 😅

Angel was an excellent and communicative sitter, I’m very grateful to her. I can’t chose the smallest time period with 3 cats even though the only thing they need is litter scooped (they have automatic feeders and water) so I wish Meowtel didn’t force me to pay for extra time.

Angel was in fact an angel. She found time before we left out of town to do a meet and greet, ask all the questions and see the layout of our home, which was extremely helpful. I let her know our cat is extremely shy and every day she tried more and more to get him comfortable and familiar with her presence. On the last day of her booking he came out and sniffed her hand. That was such a big deal for her and us! Angel was super kind, friendly, considerate, and compassionate. She followed our directions to a T and spoiled our sweet boy with treats. She was very responsive, sent pictures, and went over and beyond putting away all of the items we took out for her to use, leaving home very tidy. I would most definitely book her again and I can't wait to see how her and our cat Truffle relationship blossom.

Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.

All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
