I have helped save over two dozen cats from euthanasia and also have two kitties of my own named Arya and Nissa whom I love dearly.
From administering medications or shots to monitoring blood glucose levels, I'm equipped to handle any situation with confidence and compassion for your pet with special needs.
I understand the importance of maintaining your pet's routine, so I make it a priority to learn their individual needs and preferences to provide the best possible care while you're away.
I know that entrusting your pet with someone new can be daunting. During each visit, I will check-in with you, providing photos and feedback. Additionally, I will be available to answer any and all concerns you may have while you are away.
Your pet's well-being is my priority, and I'm committed to exceeding your expectations every step of the way.
I work from home on a flexible schedule so I can accommodate most pet visit requests during any time of the day with at least one day’s notice.

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I have been taking care of cats in my home and others for over a decade. I spent my entire 20s fostering cats and kittens who were on the NYC euthanasia list. I nursed these cats back to health and helped them to find their forever homes. Additionally, I am the go to cat sitter among other fosters I’ve worked with, my personal friends, and family.
What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
I love getting to meet your feline friends. Each cat has such a unique personality and disposition. I truly enjoy getting to know them.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I have two cats named Arya and Nissa. Arya is brown tabby cat with special needs - she has a rare autoimmune disorder and is pre-diabetic so requires consistent gluclose monitoring and daily medications. Nissa is a dilute calico with the best personality. She wants to be everyone’s best friends and loves nothing more than a good cuddle session.
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
When working with a new pet parent, I like to start with getting information about your pets need and preferences. Not all cats are alike and some have their own particular routines that they like. My goal is to cater to your cat the same way you do and ensure they are as comfortable as possible in your abscence.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Elkridge cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $25.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
