😸I would be thrilled to meet you and take care of your fur babies. I am a proud parent to 6 cat fur babies so I understand trusting someone with them and your home is a big step.
😼I will do my best to make you and them comfortable. I have a history of working with animal rescues so feel very comfortable around all types, especially cats regardless of their purr-sonality (I see you shy or spicy cats). I also am a regular volunteer at the animal shelter to keep practicing my cat skills... Meowdy!

😺My most interesting cat experience was in 2022 I rescued 5 cats from a neighbor hoarding cats. The cats were extremely unsocialized and uncared for resulting in medical and social needs. I took my time gaining their trust by going at their pace such as sitting with them in the same area (but not looking at them), talking outloud just for them to hear, and getting them up-to-date to feel better medically as well.
👏🏼🖤🤍Now all of them are happily socialized including the most fearful cat of the bunch. He went from not even letting me look at him even after weeks to now cuddling with me frequently.
🐾That all to say I feel confident taking care of many cats, including personality and medical needs.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?
Start with a complimentary meet and greet to see how they interact with you, your cat(s), and your home. But also: 🐾How are they responding to messages? I am someone who would be prompt for reservation requests and keep you updated about your fur babies 🐾How do they follow instructions? My cats have varying levels of needs so I understand it is critical to follow their routine regardless if their paw-rent is in town or not. 🐾It is just as important for someone to respect your cat(s) as it is you as a person and paw-rent.
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
🐾Promptly responding to their messages requesting a complimentary meet and greet. With a clear understanding of date, time, and any other preferences to know before meeting (such as where to park, do they prefer I wear a mask, etc.) 🐾During the meet and greet first talk with the paw-rent to understand how they would prefer I meet their cat(s). Such as are they in a specific area of the house, things to know before slowly approaching them, and other immediate concerns the paw-rent has. 🐾Meet the fur baby or babies and learn their routines, preferences, and how to best take care of them while their paw-rent is away, including verifying that I will be sending regular written updates in addition to photos. And, be clear on what to do in the case there is an emergency. 🐾Overall make sure any concerns the paw-rent has are addressed and communication remains open.

Madison was hands down the best pet sitter I have ever used! She was thorough, reliable and kept me in the loop with every detail of my fur babies. My cats are very shy and she was able to not only get them to come out, she was able to love on them and give them attention. She ended up winning them over. TOP TIER SERVICE. We had a wonderful experience with Madison. I could tell from the meet and greet she was great with my kitties. She kept me posted each day with detailed updates and photos when she visited, and my cats seemed to really like her 😸😻 I had never used a service for my cats before, but I truly appreciate knowing that I have someone reliable and trustworthy to take care of my fur babies. Knowing they were safe and well cared for helped me to enjoy my time away. I would recommend Madison to anyone looking for an excellent cat sitter 😸😻

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Charlotte cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $26.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
