What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?

Start with a complimentary meet and greet to see how they interact with you, your cat(s), and your home. But also: 🐾How are they responding to messages? I am someone who would be prompt for reservation requests and keep you updated about your fur babies 🐾How do they follow instructions? My cats have varying levels of needs so I understand it is critical to follow their routine regardless if their paw-rent is in town or not. 🐾It is just as important for someone to respect your cat(s) as it is you as a person and paw-rent.

What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?

🐾Promptly responding to their messages requesting a complimentary meet and greet. With a clear understanding of date, time, and any other preferences to know before meeting (such as where to park, do they prefer I wear a mask, etc.) 🐾During the meet and greet first talk with the paw-rent to understand how they would prefer I meet their cat(s). Such as are they in a specific area of the house, things to know before slowly approaching them, and other immediate concerns the paw-rent has. 🐾Meet the fur baby or babies and learn their routines, preferences, and how to best take care of them while their paw-rent is away, including verifying that I will be sending regular written updates in addition to photos. And, be clear on what to do in the case there is an emergency. 🐾Overall make sure any concerns the paw-rent has are addressed and communication remains open.

We had a wonderful experience with Madison. I could tell from the meet and greet she was great with my kitties. She kept me posted each day with detailed updates and photos when she visited, and my cats seemed to really like her 😸😻 I had never used a service for my cats before, but I truly appreciate knowing that I have someone reliable and trustworthy to take care of my fur babies. Knowing they were safe and well cared for helped me to enjoy my time away. I would recommend Madison to anyone looking for an excellent cat sitter 😸😻

Cancellation Policy

Cat parents may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a full refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Cat parents will receive a full refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Cat parents will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the cat parent cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
