Cat Sitting in Harrisburg, NC
My two last cats were Tipper and Simba. Tipper was a brown tabby cat and was playful and sweet. She had a cool trick whe... I have had multiples of cats and previously bred Siamese kittens. I have also adopted strays that needed a home. I am a stay at home mom of two children in middle school. I also volunteer at a local hospital, art center and my kid’s school. I currently have a 6 yr old German Shepherd and 9 mo old Egyptian Mau mix. My previous dogs and cats passed away from long loved lives.
My two last cats were Tipper and Simba. Tipper was a brown tabby cat and was playful and sweet. She had a cool trick where she would grab a hair band in her paw and throw it and chase it. Simba was part Siamese and part tabby and was more laid back and sweet. He would eat about anything including grape jelly and pepperoni pizza. We also had another German Shepherd. We adopted a 2 mo. old kitten in Feb. from the Charlotte Humane Society and they have a really great facility.
I am available a variable of days and times and don’t have a discrepancy in neighborhoods but prefer to drive no farther than 35 min away.

Katherine did a great job for us. She made sure our schedule was maintained, which is really important because one of our cats can’t stomach kibbles, and needs wet food at certain times. she also took some terrific pics which eased my mind.

I saw that other reviews said that Katherine was great with shy cats and thought she might meet her match with my very shy little guy. I was shocked when she sent video proof of my cat not only not hiding but looking excited to see her and being snuggly. Katherine provided regular and detailed updates regarding my cat's well being as he recovered from a urinary blockage. She made sure he was hydrated and took the medications we provided exactly as requested. 5/5 would book again.

If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.

- February 13-19: Presidents Day
- May 22-28: Memorial Day
- June 16-22: Juneteenth
- July 1-7: July 4th

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Harrisburg cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $27.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.

Katherine is a wonderful pet sitter. It was a huge comfort to have her care for our kitty crew of 5 while we were out of town for death in the family. She understood the needs of our five feline friends and took special care to give them all the the attention they needed and accomodated all of the "extras" (cucumbers for one cat, wet food only for another, prescription diet for two, senstive stomach food for another). Katherine is an excellent communicator and I highly recommend her services for anyone looking for a trustworthy and reliable pet sitter. We are getting ready to book her services again.
