I’m calm, reliable, and detail-oriented, with a warm and patient personality that cats respond to. I know how to build trust with even the shyest kitties and love forming bonds with all kinds of feline friends. You can count on me to treat your cat like my own and your home with respect.
As a prior cat foster coordinator, shelter volunteer and adoption counselor I have been trained to assess the needs of cats and owners. I am knowledgeable in cat care/behavior, handling special needs/behavioral challenges as well as providing detailed information/records ( through spreadsheets). I am an experienced bottle feeder and have adopted several orphaned bottle babies over the years. My empathy, patience and compassion has driven me to provide the best care possible and treat all cats like they were my own.

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
I truly enjoy forming bonds with cats of all personality types. Cats are all so different, so getting to explore and adapt to each one is rewarding. It’s also very therapeutic for me to just spend time, love and care for cats. I love all animals but my love of cats has been there since I can remember and I have always had at least one cat my entire life. I could be considered a crazy cat lady! I also love helping others and helping others feel secure leaving their babies well cared doe is very fulfilling to me. I have had to leave my babies in someone else’s care many times before, and it truly helps when you leave and don’t have to feel anxious or stressed while you are trying to get away and enjoy yourself.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I have 8, yes 8, beautiful pussy cats! 3 boys, Rico Suave, Crouton and Sambucca and 5 girls, Purrincess, Craisin, Bunny, Sweet Tea and Snickers. Most were rescued/orphaned/foster fails and all have completely different personalities so I know how each cat is different and respect each and every cat and their multiple personalities, lol!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?
I would recommend a meet and greet for you and your cat before making a decision. Ask plenty or questions to ensure you will communicate well with one another and to determine if you will be confident and reassured leaving your fur baby with that person. Make sure your cat is also comfortable with the sitter as they will be spending the most time together, if it’s not a good match, your cat will usually let you know. Cats can be finicky, so it’s very important that they feel comfortable or their health may suffer. Always trust your own instincts and your cat’s, they are usually right!

Kristina is a great sitter. She did morning and evening check-ins--feeding, providing fresh water, cleaning dishes and litter boxes. In addition, she gives individual attention to our two very different cats, and they love it! Kristina also goes beyond what is expected such as bringing in delivered packages and mail and taking out trash. Best of all, she keeps me updated with multiple photos and messages about our two cats. I appreciate all that she does!

Kristina was amazing!!! She was so great with our cats! She took care of our cats for a week and when we came home everything was impeccable! Everything was kept so clean and neat. Kristina is so friendly and responds so quickly to messages. She was able to take my reservation quite last minute with no issue. Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.
These are the date ranges in 2026 to which the holiday surcharge applies:

- January 16-22: MLK Day
- February 13-19: Presidents Day
- May 22-28: Memorial Day
- June 16-22: Juneteenth

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Wake Forest cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $24.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
