She was booked to care for our two young cats during our upcoming vacation when, out of the blue, our 4-year-old cat Maggie was diagnosed with FOPS (feline orofacial pain syndrome). This condition can cause constant pawing at the face and severe chewing of the tongue, lips, inner cheeks, or gums. Maggie needed two transdermal medications twice a day, and we thought we’d have to cancel our non-refundable trip. I explained the situation to Sarah, who asked about the diagnosis and treatment and requested to observe me applying the medication. We met a second time, and she reassured me she could handle it. Since Maggie was responding well to treatment, we decided to go ahead with the trip. While we were away, Sarah sent videos of her applying the medication and reassured us that Maggie was behaving normally, along with photos of feeding time and playtime. Everything was spotless when we returned, and — most importantly — both cats clearly had a wonderful time with her. They gave her head-butts and curled up in her lap. Sarah is simply the best cat sitter we’ve ever had, and we recommend her wholeheartedly."
