I also have experience with cats that require extra medical care while you’re gone... I have been caring for cats for most of my life and I have 2 babies at home that are best friends and the loves of my life! I have been cat sitting for many years, and I have experience caring for all different types of cats and different personality types. I enjoy meeting a cat where they are at with patience and care. I have always had a deep love for cats, my favorite book as a kid was the Cat Encyclopedia!
I also have experience with cats that require extra medical care while you’re gone. My 4 year old cat Louie has both food allergies and asthma, so I am very used to the extra care needed for flare ups and daily inhaler administration. I am also educated on proper protocol for CPR for cats and what to do in the event that a cat is choking. It is also helpful if you leave your primary care veterinary information in case of an emergency.
My goal is to both make sure your cats are as comfortable as possible while you are away, and also offer you peace of mind that they are in good hands! I am happy to provide text updates and pictures while you’re away and missing them!
I am also happy to help around your house or apartment in any other way that you may need including checking for mail and packages and watering plants! Just let me know!

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I have 2 boys at home Louie & Gus who are 4 and 2 years old. They’re the absolute best of friends! We introduced them the proper way after spending so much time researching, then on day 2 they were begging to be together. We broke the rules and let them have a 15 minute introduction, and those 15 minutes never ended!! They’re the sweetest together and inseparable! My DREAM is to have a sphynx baby in the future so if you have one please book me I will cry tears of joy :’)
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
Please let me know the characteristics about your cat that you’d like me to be aware of so I can approach them in the most comfortable way possible for them! I’m aware that I’m coming into their space and want to know as much as I can beforehand to make them feel safe! Please let me know if they’re shy and would like me to take it slow with them, or if you have a routine that you’d like me to maintain while you’re away. Cats are sensitive and intelligent, so I want to make sure that I’m respecting them and their home!
What is your favorite cat toy?
My cats LOVE a food puzzle. It keeps them busy while we are not at home and stimulates their brains at the same time! I highly recommend if you have a cat that gets bored easily when at home alone, you can tell they get so proud of themselves when they solve it and find the food! It’s like scavenging!

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.
