I enjoy playing with cats and making sure they are being taken care of when the owners are away. I know the struggle when I need to leave for vacation and leave my cat at home for days.

Yes. Her name is Luka. She is four years old and I got her when she was 6 months old.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?
Make sure they are responsible and truly love taking care of cats. It is not just a side job to earn some extra money.

I couldn't be happier with the care my cat received. Karena followed all my instructions closely and clearly took the extra steps needed to keep my cat comfortable and healthy. She sent regular photo updates, which I really appreciated, and it was obvious from the pics how well she interacted with my cat. My cat looked relaxed in the pics and safe around her, which says a lot about the trust she built. She also gave my cat plenty of brushing and petting, especially helpful during shedding season, and my cat stayed healthy with no digestive issues the whole time. On top of that, she left the space spotless after each visit. Trustworthy, attentive, and clearly a true cat lover. I'll definitely be booking her again!

Karena is more than a sitter we can count on, she’s more like a friend of my kitties. We had a not really pleasant experience before, plus one of our kitties is really shy that she always hide the whole time when we have visitors. Karena approached our kitties with patience and respect, and she gained the kitties’ trust so fast that both of them were no longer hide the next day! Karena showed her love of cats to the kitties, took time play with them, took care of them with a sincere heart, more importantly, made them feel less lonely when we were not home. We can tell all these from the photos and videos, as well as the moment we saw them when we got home. Karena is the type of person that cares about what you care about your kitty, she’s always listening, communicative and make things work. Our kitties were still waiting for her in the first few days after we came back, they definitely miss her! In short, Karena is definitely someone we would recommend.

Karena did an excellent job caring for my cats, including one feral cat who can be very challenging. She was patient, calm, and clearly experienced with difficult interactions. Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.

Elmhurst cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $31.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
